Aloft El Segundo - Los Angeles Airport

We have been there for family trip the last day of 2023 and room heater system didn’t work and room was so freezing. I asked the front desk and they brought small heater devices but they didn’t work

Great location, nice and clean hotel. Many lovely and hard working staff, from the ladies at the counter, maintenance gentleman and cleaning people. Most of them super polite and respectful. The exception was one of the little bus drivers that talked to me and my family in and extremely rude manner, (goatee man). Great experience overall, will visit again and will definitely recommend. We arrived to the hotel about 12:30am after a late night flight. We have pre booked and prepaid for our room, and I called earlier in the day to verify our reservation and make sure everything was good for our late arrival. When we arrived at the hotel we were told they were “overbooked” and they did not have a room for us. I was traveling with my child. They did not have alternative accommodations for us, nor would the hotel shuttle take us to another hotel. We had to Uber a few miles away to a much lesser quality hotel that charged us over $200 for what should have been a $70 stay. It has been a week and I still have not been refunded my payment to this hotel either. I will never book here again.

Showed up with my family after prepaying at a late hour and was told the hotel was over booked and rooms were being held for Marriott status members and I had to take my 1 year old and 7 year old to another hotel at 2:30am.

Worst beds. Both beds in my room had mattresses Broken. Could not sleep all night. Rooms are very small.. due to downtown area maybe. Front desk is fancy with big bar for those like drinking. Not for family.

Hotel was funky, clean and smelt nice. The reception which is in the wxyz lounge was nice but the music was quite loud which made it difficult for me to hear what the receptionist was trying to tell to me. Receptionists are ok - not very friendly. Breakfast is more like a grab and go type of breakfast. Unfortunately we felt a little uncomfortable while my mother and I got breakfast since there was a lady watching our every move - we paid for breakfast, we should be able to eat as much as we’d like. The room and bathroom were nice and clean - not so spacious for a crawling bub. Walls are a little thin - we could here our ‘neighbours’ conversations. The airport shuttle was great as it came every 30min. Overall, stay was good but not so great for a young family.

Overall the pros outweigh the cons. Very nice, cool, modern industrial feel. Staff was very nice and welcoming. We got a room on the 1st floor which felt like the basement at first but then turned out to be the coolest spot because the balcony doors led straight to the pool, which the kids loved! So I would recommend getting a room on the 1st floor. Disclaimer: the 3rd floor is lobby so you’d need to go down in order to get to 2nd and 1st. Very unique. Only thing is that the AC was not too cold and pool needs some maintaining once in awhile. Guests left trash near pool which didn’t look too pleasing and note to add a little more lighting for night swimmers (pool closes at 10) it does get dark. Other than that the stay was perfect! We reserved 2 queen beds and they give us a king that was not enough for a family with kids, they didn’t have parking for the car and they were all meant!!! Horrible experience at this hotel !

great venue...staff is really great....Anthony at the desk was a great help...flight was delayed and I was late for a dinner that was a surprise to other family members...

I came in around 2:00pm and was told they didn’t have any rooms ready. I was told to wait an hour because check in was at 3:00pm. A family then came in and was able to check in about 15 minutes after I was told to wait.
