Residence Inn by Marriott Los Angeles Burbank Downtown

The staff at the hotel was lovely. In particular, we received help from Casey at check-in, Ryan for a room change and other requests, and Kate with the extension to our stay. We also a lovely chat with Jane and Caroline checked us out. The dining staff at breakfast kept the food supplied and continuously cleaned up any messes made by the hotel guests. Our first room was quite noisy, which was not good for a family member recovering from surgery. We appreciated how Ryan quickly facilitated a room change to a quieter part of the hotel. The bed was comfortable. The hide-a-bed was not as comfortable, but the staff provided extra comforters, which helped. The location is good, an easy walk to downtown Burbank, where there are many restaurants. It is also very close to Ikea. Parking at the hotel was easy.

We would definitely stay here again! It was perfect for our family of 4. We got a room on the 2nd floor and right by the pool for easy access. Our kids loved it. The breakfast was great! Loved all of the options. They give different ones each day. The only issue we had is we did not get turn down service. The housekeeper came to our room early and we weren’t ready. She said she’d come back after her 1pm break and never did. Otherwise a very good place to stay!

It’s not safe, back door by pool area that has access to guest rooms was broken and two many homeless roaming around. People smoke weed and boxes of Alcohol around pool area. Not safe or kids friendly.

Stayed here for a week with my kids and it was perfect. Convenient and close to everything, and walking distance too. Location was clean, staff was friendly, and pool was great for kids too. Loved the convenience of having a kitchen for my kids but they did offer free breakfast which was also pretty good. Had a small reservation misunderstanding due to overnight C/S rep but manager fixed the issue right away. Was grateful for that as i had just spent 9 hrs at airport overnight due to connection weather delays. Definitely recommend and will definitely stay here again whenever in the area. My family had a very comfortable stay. Staff was very helpful and polite. Some family members stayed in rooms opposite of us (their rooms closer to the freeway) which was expectedly not as quiet but they still were comfortable and not bothered by any noise. Breakfast was very decent and had plenty of options.

The free breakfast provided was invaluable. My family was in a rush to get to Universal Studios Hollywood so this was such a time-saver. The staff was so warm and welcoming to boot. The location was also close to the park so we were able to get there in short order.

My family and I arrived at the property on April 21st to check in at 3:00pm. Upon arrival (after a 6-hour drive) the lady at the front desk told us that the room would not be ready until AT LEAST 4:00pm. I told her that when I paid it said it would be guaranteed and ready by 3:00pm and she said theres nothing she can do. After checking in to our room we left out suitcases freshened up and left. We came back past 10:00pm at night and immediately put the kids to sleep. My husband and I noticed that there were tons of mosquito looking bugs flying all around the apartment and tried to kill as many as possible. We found them in the bed, kitchen and all over the cielings of the rooms. I called downstairs and the manager let me know that she would have someone come up and look at it tomorrow and if they couldnt fix the problem they would switch our room. Someone came the next morning and offered to spray a bug spray around the room (not safe for children) and I refused as I have two small kids (one with asthma). The manager called me again at night to let me know that the maintenance came up again and looked and could not find any insects so she couldnt do anything for me. That night, we found more and they were infact not gone. At this point, we were so tired of fighting with the front desk and them doing nothing so we figured we would deal with it when we got back. I took pictures and videos of the bugs and have them available.

I appreciated the uniqueness of the location and being right in town. Thankful for the outdoor parking, but also had garage parking. The pool area was nice , but was not cleaned until after they noticed my kids swam in it. I purposely got a suite with a kitchen to make food to save on eating out. I was HIGHLY disappointed in the fact that burning wouldn’t even get hot enough to boil my pasta. Dish options were sparse. Ultimately, my food went to waste and we ended up having to eat out.

Needed a place close to our family in Burbank for the holidays and this was the best choice. People were super friendly and the room was fantastic. Larger than I expected and had a great “clean” feeling that I hoped for. I’ll definitely use this place when in town.

Wonderful hotel within walking distance of hoppin’downtown Burbank! Just perfect location with my toddler son for quick/fun outings. Loved it! Also super close to Costco and Target which was excellent for baby supplies!
