Stayed here with my family (2 adults, 1 child) during September. The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious (we had a standard twin). The beds weren’t as comfortable as I would have liked, but it wasn’t extremely bad. My son got to use the pool which was nice and warm. I liked the nostalgia of knowing some of my favourite movie and tv shows filmed scenes here. The shuttle service was such a life saver! Just make sure you book it before hand, however they were able to accommodate for us one afternoon when we decided to leave the park a little earlier. Drivers on the shuttle are also amazing.

This hotel is perfect for visiting Universal. Don’t forget to stop in at the excellent food truck down the street. There was plenty of parking although tight at this hotel. Only thing I would have changed. Put the family with two little runnning children on the bottle floor not the upper floor above a couple. They were up late, up during the night and up early!! There is a shuttle to Universal if you need or the drive is a quick 10 minutes

Property is very neat and clean. Cleaning staff was GREAT and layed out my children’s stuffed animals in a very neat way! Nice surprise when coming back after a long day! Convent shuttle service. Highly recommend the Safari Inn!!

Great experience at this hotel, friendly staff and the cleanliness. The bed/mattress was really comfortable, I wanted to take a picture to see what was the brand of the mattress to buy one for my place (LOL). Had a great family time. I didn't use it but they have climatized pool. The only thing that would make this hotel perfect would be to include a complementary full breakfast. Nice area and surroundings and at a convenient distant from Warner Studios and Universal.

Its an older Hotel but very kept up rennovated vintage look i like how they have tables above the pool. Pool was nice for the kids and me had fun

Family friendly. Our kids enjoyed the heated pool and provided towels. The hotel is close to universal about 12 min drive. Unfortunately we couldn’t use the shuttle option, so make sure to book in advance! Clean and easy parking.

We came as family to visit universal studios , and I must say it was a great choice . This hotel is in a very nice neighborhood seemed very safe and only a 15 minute drive to the theme park.all the staff here is very friendly , upon check in I was given 2 complimentary bottles of water and some gummy bears which I thought was very nice. The rooms themselves are a little small but very clean , the only think I wish was that the rooms had a microwave but we used the one in the laundry room. I opted to not get our room cleaned during our stay but the front desk was always friendly when I asked for trash bags, toilet paper and more coffee . Overall a great quiet place to stay and super friendly staff 10/10 I’d definitely stay here again

The Safari Inn was perfect for my family to stay in while we visited Universal Studios. The free shuttle to and from the park is an amazing perk to staying here. It does require reservations so be sure that you book a time at the front desk. Speaking of the front desk, this place has the most friendly and helpful staff! The employees work hard and take pride in what they do to ensure that your stay is amazing. It really is a a throwback motel with their neon lights but it is updated and safe and within walking distance to some great local restaurants. If you’re looking for a place where you can just sleep after a long day at the park this is a great option.

My expectations were exceeded! We just wanted a place to stay before we went to universal studios with our 2 kids. The free shuttle saved us $30 in parking and the hotel wasn't expensive at all! I was hoping it wouldn't be too sketchy but it wasn't at all. I felt very safe, it was very clean and very kept up and plenty of room for us and our 2 kids, ages 11 and 13. This will our new go to when we return to universal studios.
