Coast Anabelle Hotel

This hotel is a gem. Like a family style hotel with much larger rooms and shower The onsite restaurant is very good and the bar is also not to be missed especially the barman Dennis you feel you’ve known him all your life. The free shuttle to/from Burbank airport and the theme parks is also a huge plus. All the staff are very friendly.

I would normally give this an exceptional rating, but we had a small/large issue with our room. The base of the toilet leaked every time we flushed the toilet! It was luckily never brown or gross looking, but still pretty gross as a principle. Sadly no compensation was offered, just to move rooms. We didn’t definitively notice this was happening until we had already been there a day secondary to thinking my kids were just making a mess with the sink and shower. I was a bit disappointed nothing was even offered or tried to be resolved by the hotel other than a change in room, but luckily there was at least that option! The staff was very kind and overall good. The hotel was quaint and cute overall and we liked the restaurant in house. Love the offered shuttle services!! This would definitely had been a 5 star review without the toilet issue.

We chose this hotel due to the close proximity to Universal Studios Hollywood and it truly was a quick 12 minute drive! They offer a free shuttle, which we decided not to take just due to the uncertainty of our plans. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The only challenge with this hotel is the noise. If you have small children just be aware that the bar downstairs doesn’t close until 10pm, which may interfere with bedtime. All of the rooms are close to the open concept lobby/bar, so you can hear everything from your room. We placed a towel under our door but didn’t help much. One other thing I didn’t love was the lack of extra locks on the hotel room doors. The only lock the room had was the bolt above the handle. Very unusual for a hotel room. Other than that it is a good place if you want to be close to Universal.

Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable for our family of 4. The location was perfect as we spent our days at Universal Studios. We’d absolutely stay here again!

We were upgraded to a junior suite. The room was nicely decorated & very large. A larger television would be nice for viewing from the bed - the room is that big! The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful including the front desk, the maid staff, and the shuttle drivers. (Great shuttle service. We used it every day) Our stay was quiet except for one night when people were chatty in the hallway @ 3am. Our room faced Olive Avenue which is a busy street. If traffic noise bothers you, you may want to request a room facing the parking lot.

Free parking and shuttle to amusement parks is great! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only downside missing attractions for kids - limited TV channels with kids programming and no movies available to rent.

This was a great place to stay at while my family was visiting Universal Studios. The streets around the hotel were never busy and the parking was right outside the entrance. The place was very clean the staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing that annoyed me was that if you need to use a microwave, you have to walk across the street to the safari inn and go into the laundry room. That’s also where the pool is located. This was pretty frustrating and so I probably would choose another hotel if I’m ever in the area. However this doesn’t change the fact that my stay was nice and if that’s not an issue for you then I think it’s a great option.

This hotel was the most cleanest and peaceful stay we have stayed at. I stayed with my kids and I felt very safe. We also loved how close it was to universal.

My family and I enjoyed our stay, the staff was courteous and very knowledgeable of the area and able to help planning a day of sightseeing. The rooms were up-to-date and very clean, room service was quick and the food was great. I would definitely recommend staying here.
