We stayed in a suite for six days in a family outing to Universal Studios. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. I really love Burbank and the proximity to Universal Studios was unbeatable. The hotel team members were very friendly and the valet was timely and courteous. If I had one critique, it would be room cleaning - we had a hard time getting our room properly serviced. I assume this was due to short staffing. That said, it seems like all hotels since the pandemic act as if cleaning a room is not necessary.

The property was beautiful. We pulled up and I thought it was the wrong place. Or I had been mischarged for a lesser amount. Staff was kind and helpful. There is only valet parking so be aware of that. The front desk was kind and seemed genuinely interested in making sure I was set up and good to go. We went to our room and relaxed s bit. The beds were better than decent. (Nothing beats home, right?) And the rooms were clean and nice. We brought our two children with us and although we didn't see any other kids while there, everyone was still nice to them. We took Uber everywhere we needed to go and were relatively close to Universal Studios and City Walk. Continental breakfast was one of the better ones we have been to. Lots of options coffee, tea, water, milk. Etc. Cereal, toast, bagels, muffins, you name it. If we ever go back to universal, we would probably come back.

“Windy” was her name in the front and she was great! Also the valet staff were super friendly with my children, they made us want to come back.

Staff were very attentive and helpful. When my kids played around with the safe, I called the concierge and they got someone to help me reset it within 15min. Continental breakfast offerings were good - bagels, jams, coffee and tea, fruit, mini muffins, yogurt, protein bars. Nice that there’s a Vons right across the street, too.

We loved the location and availability of restaurants as Star Bucks is across the street and a local grocery store was in the same area making walking an option. The hotel was decorated for Christmas and new years and had some family areas in the small lobby. Staff were available to hold our luggage safely in the lobby, while we went on our excursions and wait for our transportation to the train station. We enjoyed the hotel and they were very accommodating to my down allergies.

Mixture of good and bad points. Our hotel room was clean & over all pretty cozy, we had plenty of space for us to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the city. The bartender was friendly & gave us some tips for when we were going to visit Universal. Our room was mostly quiet, we were semi near the front entrance, so I did end up waking up once both nights to the sound of someone's rather loud car idling at the front door for an extended period of time. The room patio didn't look well-tended to, but maybe not that many people spend time out there. I liked the shower in our room & the toiletries in the bathroom weren't bad although the face wash bar they have wasn't the greatest and drying to the skin. For how expensive this hotel is compared to other hotels even before the extra per day hotel fee you would think the breakfast, they offered would be a bit better. It was pretty bland and basically just bread products (bagels, mini muffins, mini pastry things, yogurt and oranges/apples) at least the first day of our stay they had three bagel flavors but the second day they only had plain bagels out. Aside from coffee there was no juice or even milk for the non-coffee drinkers and children. One of the families who were there at the same time as us had asked if they had milk for their little ones and were told it would be an extra charge. Didn't really feel like a very family friendly hotel more of a business hotel.

I was initially excited to stay at this property because it was in close proximity to family, and looked like a cute boutiquey hotel. The property itself was very pretty and well kept… however, the beds were VERY uncomfortable. I felt like my feet were higher than my head, and the mattress was way too soft. The pillows were horribly soft. We were also charged $40 a day ( partially for valet parking) even though we DIDNT have a car. I told the girl at the desk that, but she just kept talking over me. It was a bit noisy, but what hotel isn’t. Left there feeling disappointed.

The outdoor pool was heated so the kids enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and professional. Continental breakfast was above average. It consisted of fresh bagels, toast, chobani yogurt, fresh muffins, coffee, fruit, and snack bars.
