Renaissance London Heathrow Hotel

Many thanks to Abdul at the desk who got our family 2 rooms together! It was quiet and great!

The hotel was convenient, clean and met the needs of our family who were travelling from heathrow. We stayed over night, ate at the restaurant and checked out in the morning. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and made the whole experience an excellent one.

Special thanks go Lilly who checked us in and made neccessary arrangements for our baby. Definitely a place to stay next time I have to fly early.

Not bad. Not amazing. Cute little room with the essentials. Bed was not very comfortable. Hotel is near many hostels so there are literally hundreds of kids walking around at all hours of the morning!

Very good place to stay with family for few day due to its location is convenient for travelling to Airport terminal and city center via buses, tube or train . Convenient shop available just few minutes walk to get food n drink if you are not taking breakfast at hotel.

We only stayed overnight, but they don't offer a free shuttle to the airport. It will cost you £6 for an individual and £11 for a family to travel one way to an airport that you can actually see from the hotel. The bed was soft and the shower was so narrow it was hard to use. Thankfully we were only there for one night.

Found the Hotel no problem nice and close the the airport, dropped family at the front and drove round the back to park, walked back through the hotel and checkin all finished :) Adjacent interconnnecting rooms abosolutely ideal for family before holiday. Breakfast buffet style, cooked items had far too many out drying out and going cold, mine breakfast at best lukewarm, wifes cold! Never mind she would have some pastries, came back to the table with the pastries we refused to let her eat them as they were covered in ants. Told the staff who investigated, apparently the ants were only on the plates and cutlery not the pastries, they did act quickly and apologised, wife no appetite!!! Took it up when checking out, thats Hotels.Com's issue we were told, manager called offered refund on two breakfasts and apologies, no sign of any refund yet (3 weeks and counting!!!) Great view of the runway from dining area

Been before, and being a plane fan, I went for a runway view. Might sound odd, but where the planes were landing from I was quite happy. What got me, was for to me entice my family to stay at an airport hotel, it needs to make sense for them. The shuttle bus service hourly was not good and overloaded. Meant a taxi drive both ways, and mr grumpy driver from airport, until he felt to be thankful after pressing his up button on the charges several times. Info from transportation rep at hotel was oddly less than needed. Info we got was buses often but then found out to different terminals. We wanted T5. Don’t say please about the flight cancellations. Will I be back? Only if I can persuade the family, as I love the runway view.
