Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Gatineau/Manoir du Casino

The hotel is clean but outdated even with the room renovations they have attempted. The renovations are not completed or they hired bad contractors for the job, for example in my room the doors are off balance and wont close without force. There was a big gap between the closet door and wall. The curtains seem old and theres a microwave in a ramdon spot at the end of the hallway just chilling there seems like someone just put it there without thought. The hotel location is ok ther are some stores around and reataurants are withing driving distance. It is a bit of a drive to downtown Ottawa if that is what you are looking to tour. You can hear wvwrything in the hallways and since its hardwood floors you can also hear when the people above you are walking around. Theres a restaurant in the hotel but not much info about their breakfast or anything at all really the front desk didnt give much info. Theres a pool but the area looked old outdated and not inviting my kids didnt want to use it afterall. The beds were ok but only three pillows each bed and we were given three towels, no hand towels and one clean and one dirty face cloth. The room service only made up one bed the next day, we stayed for two nights. We were out and about most of the day so we didnt need to spend much time in the room i guess it worked out.

We had to change room because the bath wasn't working. The second room was not very clean and we had to call service room because one light and the bath wasn't working. The fixed it. We call for a babybed and they said they will bring it but never did. But the staffwas VERY nice.

Our second stay at the Ramada Plaza in Gatineau. Located close to both a grocery and liquor store, and an easy drive to the Ottawa side to visit family. As an unexpected bonus, there was a Nespresso coffee machine in the room.

Accommodation wasn't bad for the price. I visited with my kids and spent the night. I worried a lot about other people's ratings and reviews, but it was okay. If you advise me for the hotel, I need an explanation about how to use the facility. I wish there was a notice attached. Also, the inside of the facility is too dark, and it's still under construction, so it's not organized. It would be much better if there were extra slippers in the room.

What can I say! I stayed here (my 2nd time) with my kids... The hotel was busy but clean and the staff were very polite and professional :) Thanks to Kevin at the front desk! -Sean

Great quiet hotel, the rooms are getting a bit dated otherwise a decent spot with family!

I booked a suite for myself and my family. Upon our arrival at night and tired, we were told the suites were no longer available. We were given a small room for the same price!!! and promised an extra bed which never came even after calling for it. We got our suite the second night which was okay.

The pool area was very tricky to get to, not easy at all. The hot tub was closed and there were no towels. Pool is small but does the trick with younger kids.

Our check in time was 4 . But as room was not ready . We had to wait till 5:30. With 3 kids . And they said we can’t do anything . Expedia said we can’t guarantee that about hotels . I deserve some cash back for all the inconvenience. As I missed my ferry which was at 6:30 . After taking bath and changing kids clothes we reached 6:15 and there was not enough time to board it. I promised my kids for ferry ride .

Great place if you have a family of 5 or 6. Right next to grocery store and restaurant in hotel was very convenient when you have hungry kids in the morning.
