Andaz Ottawa Byward Market - a concept by Hyatt

I liked everything about this boutique like hotel. The welcome we got from front desk and they accommodated to our requests with big smiles. The room was perfect with a view of the hill. The housekeeping was fantastic, checking on what qe needed. It was my first time in Ottawa and this is going to be my go to hotel when visiting again I would recommend this hotel in a heart beat to frends and family, oh i already did 😀 It was the best stay. I could go on and on about the restaurants on site as well

Terrible experience. All the other guest were given full services except us. My family and I felt discriminated. There was so many missing information and everything was chaos. I was so disappointed.

The hotel itself is lovely, and the staff were nothing but fabulous. The room was clean and well stocked, including free snacks and non alcoholic drinks in the room on arrival. Dining options at the hotel are limited and quite pricey for what they are, but the food was good. The main drawback is the location. Although super convenient (right in the Byward Market) the area surrounding the hotel - particularly going down Rideau - can be quite sketchy. Easy enoughbto navigate if one is aware of what to watch for, but not family friendly. If looking to stay with a family, go elsewhere.

Pros: Great location, the hotel looks new, room is very clean and functional, and comfortable bed. Cons: NOISY, very noisy on Friday and weekends because there is a street of bars, I can’t sleep until 2 am, the hotel’s window does not do anything to these noise. The hotel does not have its own parking, but there is a parking lot across the street, for me, it is not a big problem. Overall: not recommmended for families and weekend vacation, there are better choice around this location and the same price range.

Fantastic staff, modern rooms with great views and comfortable beds for a family of 4! Highly recommend and will return. Thanks for the stay!

I am with my family.I have two kids . They charge $35 for parking but no parking .it’s rain outside and no one help us for parking

Recommend for family, friends & as a couple as we got 3 rooms for the family to stay. The single King with a view was amazing. Two Mirrors- inside & out of bathroom. Spacious. An extra door in the washroom for the toilet & a separate door for the shower, with the sink in between also with a door. Soft comfortable bed, walk-in closet. The 2 Queens room with a view was lovely. Only 1 mirror in the washroom. Comfy beds. No top sheet in any room. Excellent restaurant on main floor- service & food & cleanliness. Great location. Easy self parking. Nice lounge on PH floor for photo ops, drinks & seating (indoor and a outdoor section). Everyone says they’ll stay again. Finally the king bed for accessible access was lovely. It did not face the view of parliament but it was spacious for 2. I heard the shower in that room was great with some fancy shower head. We all recommend & will stay again.

All my family had a weekend and stayed in Andaz hotel for 1 night. The view from the window was beautiful. We were happy to spend time in Ottawa.

The hotel was conveniently located close to all amenities. We spent two nights here as a family of four. The room was spacious and clean. The front staff was extremely helpful throughout our stay. Thank you for an awesome Canada Day weekend!!
