Great place to stay for a couple of nights with the family. Easy walk into Ottawa across the Alexandria bridge and right by the must-visit Museum of Canadian History. Room was nice and the restaurant bar looked nice although we only went for breakfast, which had an excellent selection, including fresh waffles.

The heating system was excessively noisy in the room and kept waking me up every time it would start during the night. My wife and I usually love to come to this hotel when we visit our family in Gatineau, but we are seriously considering other options.

I had booked two beds in my room and when I got there they did not have any more rooms left with two beds. They assured me that they would set up a pull out couch for me and my family when I returned and they did not do that. Our room smelled like smoke and the carpet was filthy. The pool area was dangerous there was a exposed wire from the pool to outside of the pool and the only thing that was holding it was a piece of tape. I will not be staying here again and I will be leaving a review on Google and yelp and be making a complaint to the head office.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Indoor parking lot is tight and an accident waiting to happen. I’d park outdoors next time. Double beds and the room were small for my liking. Pool is only open on weekends?! Very disappointing for my kids who were there for a competition and wanted to swim with their friends. Would choose elsewhere next time based on that.
