The bed was amazing in the room I was in it felt like sleeping on a cloud, It was so soft thank you Stephanie hopefully I got her name correct she was amazing to me. The second room the bed was very hard and they didn't sleep well in it. When trying to go in the pool, it was very hard to get any blue towels.has there was none constantly every time you would want to go swimming. I also found some of the staff very friendly, and some that just had no interest in dealing with me. Part of me felt very welcome but part of me didn't. also, when it comes to the room service, they didn't have all the food options when get food, and then when it was hard to call down the first night there we went to the restaurant the night staff were awesome breakfast the next morning was awesome. She was fantastic. at dinner time later that day on Saturday was not very great. I did not know we needed renovations? It didn't feel that welcoming at that time the more than of leaving breakfast was good. I also find it hard to get extra towels when you have extra people in the room. it took me to go to three different people to finally get towels. my room was cold the first night because I did not know how to use the thermostat, but that was my own fault. Then I figured it out and it was great for having a warm room finally. I do hopefully try it again soon. The food prices were very reasonable, the mango cheesecake was delicious. But thank you for having me and my family there

Excellent location and super close to the SkyTrain. Great family friendly hotel. They had games in the lobby which was a huge hit. We were there during a guest appreciation week and there were activities and food in the lobby which the whole family loved. Every staff member we encountered was kind, courteous and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

I'd stayed in the Metropolitan for business several times and it was great. But had the family this time, and quickly realized the weird unavoidable noises the sliding door to the bathroom makes is problematic. Fine when you're alone, but with a family, it wakes everyone up when one person needs to use the bathroom at night. Strange design!

Stayed 2 nights with family. It’s very convenience location - pacific centre is just across street and we can walk to downtown so easily. Front desk staffs are nice( they open entrance door for us at certain time) Room is clean and loved oversized bathroom! ( our room has bathtub and shower separately ) If I can say about cons, they charge parking fee and the parking garage is narrow. But they have gate both entrance & exit so it’s secured. We will stay again when visiting Vancouver !

I will take my family there again. It has a very prime location, we used the pool a lot, & comfortable room (we got suite). I didn’t like the garage though. It was the most narrow garage I’ve ever been in. Otherwise, this was a fantastic stay and would recommend it.

We has a Wonderful time at the Metropolitan we would especially like to thank the Duty Manager June who booked our reservation, made special arrangements for our kids and even treated us to cheese cake at the diva restaurant next door just to make us feel welcome, We would also like to thank the other staff, Neal, Dom, Isabel , especially Raj who has been on staff for 25 years, and peter the doorman ! These people really made us feel welcome ! We hope to visit them again, and recommend this hotel, Right near the Vancouver City Centre metro station very accessible to public transit. the hotel was not cheap but was in the heart of Vancouver, for anyone who decided not to rent a car, this was the prime location, it has two queen beds, complimentry water , coffee, tea, a business center on the third floor that allowed you to work, a pool and gym also on the third floor ! Once again we cant say enough about the excellent staff thank you again for great stay in rm 1112 ! visitors from Toronto !
