Auberge Vancouver Hotel

We selected this hotel because it is steps away from the cruise pier but less expensive than some of the other well known hotel chains. Our room had a separate bedroom and a nice counter with a sink and a fridge. We wished we would have stayed longer! The only thing that annoyed our family was that the fitness facility and the pool are part of a luxury downtown club and I didn't get the feeling they appreciated hotel guests that much. The pool is closed to minors until 9 am in the morning, so don't expect a family swim on checkout day. There is also no restaurant on site. We appreciated that the staff allowed us to store our suitcases on our cruise return day :)

The location is really good. The hotel is a mix between residential and hotel guests. We booked a room for 4. 2 adults and 2 children, I messaged that our flight was delayed and communication was good. We arrived at our hotel at 22:00 hrs. The sofa bed was not made and no pillows. These were soon provided. However I would have expected the room to be made for the family. Amenities in kitchenette is very poor. 2 inappropriate wine glass and 2 mugs. No cutlery, plates even though a fridge and microwave. Not set up for 4 people in anyway. Let alone children. 1 tea. One coffee and powdered milk. Available. Yes you can ask for more. But you are then asked specifically how many you want like it’s gold dust. Didn’t appear to be family friendly. Swimming told you come only at certain times to avoid residents. Perfect if you are conducting business travel and adult only. Would I stay here again. No, not for the money paid.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the property was very spacious and the rooms were modern and clean. The fitness and pool access are very high end as they are partnered with the fitness club in the building which allows hotel guests to use the fitness club (which includes a very large pool). There are restricted times in the morning for children, but it was a great space to swim and the steam and dry saunas were fantastic - felt like going to a spa with a pool. Great value for money spent, we will definitely stay here again.

We are a family of 4 and got a King Suite which was perfect. The hotel is situated in a great location that is walkable to the train station (to airport), Gastown, Robson Street, and Canada Place. Pool access which is very handy for those rainy Vancouver days. Overall a great stay!

Well nice and big room for a family. Kids love this hotel very much and named it as the best ever. Recommended!
