Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Lake Geneva

The best thing about this hotel was the staff. They really went above and beyond, and were so friendly. They treated us like family. The second best thing was the complimentary breakfast buffet. There were many hot and cold choices, and everything was delicious. The hotel is also only minutes from stores, restaurants, and downtown Lake Geneva.

Didn’t wind up staying at all. We had a family crisis emerge 3 hrs after check in for which we only checked in and didn’t even utilize the room at all. We went back to hotel to checkout after a few hours to head back home. Didn’t see anyone at the counter and had lights turned off. But looked and saw a guy sitting on his phone who never even acknowledged me. Told him we had a family crisis emerge and had to go back home so I needed to check out and that we never even used any part of the room. He barely even looks away from his phone and tells me I can’t check you out. You have to call back in the morning or email us tomorrow. I asked if there was nothing else and he shook his head said no all while playing in his phone. This was extremely unprofessional and not appreciated when I was already on the verge of tears from our family issues cutting our events short.

The property was clean, plenty of parking and offered complimentary breakfast with nice variety. Our room was adequately sized but could use more clothing storage space. Bathroom great. Bed was great. TV great. Halls quiet even with all the kids. Surprisingly, a Gidein Bible and Book of Mormon was in the drawer! Haven't seen that in years. Lots of USB ports. We would come again.

My husband and I stayed here while attending a family wedding. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly, and our room was nice! My only complaint was that our pillows were so light and thin. Overall a good experience.

Thirteen of us, 11 adults and 2 children, celebrated a 50th birthday while staying at the Fairfield. We found it very clean both in the rooms as well as the public areas. Rooms were well furnished and public area spacious. Workout area was good. Pool is on the smaller side. Breakfast was very good. Would definitely stay here again.

Rooms were fantastic. Loved the design of the bathroom. Pool is small but the kids didn’t seem to mind. Many choices for breakfast.
