La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Spokane Valley

Traveled with family for a vacation to Silverwood Theme Park. The hotel staff was very friendly, everything was nice and clean. The rooms were nice as well with comfortable beds. The morning breakfast was okay. It was conveniently located near stores and some restaurants. There is a very nice paved path near the Spokane River for a walk, run, or bike ride. The scenery on the path was beautiful. From the hotel, it is about a 30-40 min drive to Silverwood theme park. Overall we had a very nice stay.

I enjoyed my stay except we got put by the elevator. Which our floor also had a group of young kids so at 6 am they were in the hallway waiting for the elevator screaming right by my door. Next time I will ask to be on top floor away from any kids.

The room was very comfortable and clean. Very accommodating of our pet. However, due to the large amount of kids it was a noisy (running around and door slaming).

I’ve stayed at this property in Spokane valley once a year for my annual visit. This year I was disappointed. I stayed in a family suite and upon arrival it had an odd odor that never went away. The room showed great wear and tear and run down. The pool was so foggy you couldn’t see the bottom. The elevator was iffy so we took the stairs. Very disappointed.

I'm not sure where the 9.0 rating comes from, maybe bots. The hotel is a budget hotel. The property for the most part is kept up fairly well. The breakfast is the same every day and pretty low budget as well. The upside was the staff. They were great and when we needed to move rooms because our shower didn't work, they accommodated us immediately. Every employee we dealt with was friendly and professional. The pool and hot tub were kept up nicely and were the bright spot with this hotel. On the downside, it is in an industrial area with lots of truck noise. It's not a hotel for vacationers. It's for business people I assume that work near this location. The rooms were ok, but not the cleanest. The shower diverter in our first room didn't work properly. We moved to the next floor to find a room that was cleaned but hadn't apparently had a guest in a while because there was dust everywhere. Luckily we had sanitizing wipes and wiped everything down ourselves. So no big deal. The shower was ok, but as is typical with budget hotels, there was some minor grime in the corners of the floors in the bathroom. The room was smaller than I anticipated, but we made it work for a family of 3 visiting our daughter in college. Spokane Valley has some shopping and a mid sized to smaller mall just down the road. Most of the typical stuff to eat is nearby. Do yourself a favor and skip Shotzy's Coffee...not great. Drive the extra mile across the freeway to find a better spot.

We enjoyed our big room! Unfortunately, the pool was freezing!! Apparently the heating element was broken. I had called before checking in to specifically ask if the pool was working and the front desk person said yes. Then, when I did check in I commented how happy I was that there was a pool for the grandkids to swim in. The desk person didn’t say a thing about the heater being broken. 30 minutes after check in, we went to go swimming and it was soooo cold. Desk person finally said that they had ordered the part but didn’t know when it would be there. I would have appreciated the honesty up front. Just sayin!

Super comfortable mattress, my husband slept like a baby and he never does when we leave home. I liked the breakfast, good mix of protein, carbs and healthy foods.

Great breakfast available, kids loved the pool. Could've used more lighting in the pool area.

The hotel is in a convenient location. It is just north of I-90 at the Sullivan off ramp. The Spokane valley mall is a few minutes drive away. Our grandkids really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. There is a hot breakfast included too. McDonald's and subway are right next door as well.

We drive up every year for an event that our family friend hosts and this year we stayed at your hotel and it was amazing, we had to have a pet friendly hotel and our dog was treated amazing and your entire hotel staff was great. We will be coming back to stay next year.
