La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tumwater - Olympia

Was a good stay but not a good check in no where does there information say they don’t take cash had to call family to pay so we could stay been 400 miles from home. I believe you guys should have that stated somewhere that you do not expect cash

The staff were amazing. Otherwise, this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I have traveled over much of the United States. We were put in a room that reeked if chlorine from the pool-it was overwhelming and made me feel sick .NO-ONE should be rented that room-221. I don't believe it's safe. Also there was what looked like an ant on the bed but on closer inspection looked more like a small wasp or hornet. I know other reviewers had mentioned "ants" in their rooms. Obvious drug-users staying in the hotel. Poor sound-proofing plus a children's sports team = no sleep, as well as freeway traffic and the hardest hotel bed I have ever slept on. Place us run-down after being opened 9 years ago. Facet for tub fell off, the drain hole was filthy and disgusting and no water pressure. Sad Would NEVER stay here again.

The room was adequate, however not well cleaned (residue on the headboard, mold in the shower and food on the floor). I brought the kids for the pool, which was fun but beware the chlorine levels ruined my daughter hair.

Room was great and so was breakfast. But the pool was really cold, especially for my kids who are 2, 6 & 8. In the pictures of the hotel it shows a hot tub. But there is no hot tub, it was filled in and a rug was on top of it. That was really disappointing.

Great for our family for one night. Breakfast was nice for my kiddos as well. Convenient location

The walls at this hotel are so paper thin I can’t recommend it. There were kids running around screaming until 11:30 at night when I called the front desk for help. What parents think that is ok?! I understand the kids were not the hotels fault but the hotel is so poorly made you can hear everything. If you want to sleep don’t stay here.

Nice staff, beds were a little hard. The kids loved the waffle maker at breakfast 😊

Staff is great. I know the one gentleman I dealt with was in on a shift he had to cover. Great attitude. Thank you. I am doing chemotherapy and my daughter is on spectrum, the rooms are quiet and they accommodated our need for an end of the hall room. I would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was great, different each day, including a wonderful cook on time and talkative. Staff like this is few and far between. The only issue was the pool was unavailable during our stay and my child, although busy, noticed each time we passed the location. No one's fault, things happen but it lead to, with her condition, a tantrum. Thank you for being so accommodating. Take care

This is our hotel of choice when friends or family come to stay. Comfortable, clean, convenient, as well as friendly & helpful staff. Adequate breakfast and nice pool were appreciated, as well. Fair pricing, too. Highly recommend.

Well I had went from a bad situation into a hotel that I thought would be bug free at the very least. However I ended up in a ant infested room , flea bites every time we woke up but we never seen the fleas ? 2 of my kids are very allergic and end up with larger than normal bite marks. My kids were considered a inconvenience to the property and guest , they are hyper active due to conditions they have and yet nobody understood this and we constantly were told to make them be quiet. There’s no way to keep autistic or adhd kids quiet…. It’s how they are. Yet still, never did anyone understand what I meant and that it isn’t my children’s faults. Over all staff sucked , constantly behaving as though I should not feed ALL of my kids but it clearly stated breakfast was free. Complaints of how much I gave them and what not. My kids are young , so they don’t eat much. However between them all, yes they eat at least 3 adult sized plates.
