visit was for family. we stayed here once before. the staff is top notch. clean quiet room. great shower. good breakfast. a great place to stay. we will come back.

Nice place to stay with family

We were not able to even check in- no rooms available due to the Shamrock Marathons EVEN with a reservation - told us it would be a long wait to possibly get a room, at 6pm when we arrived (check in started at 3pm) said they only had two housekeepers on staff and hopefully more people would check out to possibly get us a room- we booked this room WEEKS in advance for a family event. Truly believe they over sold/committed for the weekend to others that paid more money then the expieda rate- would give this hotel zero stars, and do not book if major event happing in Va beach - they had two moms with kids crying in lobby over this situation and our family drove 3 hours home due to no where to stay- at least thankful to Expedia for helping with the cancellation at no charge - seriously worst hotel experience ever

This hotel was very clean. The beds were comfortable. My family and I enjoyed our stay. The only con is the water pressure. My sink water pressure was low but my shower pressure was good and it was opposite for our family staying next door to us. Overall, it’s a clean and nice hotel and great for family stays.

Continental breakfast was excellent. There were no water bottles or fountains available during my stay - that's a first for a hotel. When I went down to the continental breakfast I thought I'd be able to find a pitcher of water, but no dice. Yes, you can drink tap water, but I am a baby. I would say this takes the cake as my most dehydrated hotel stay. Aside from that, it was easy & fine.

This is a new hotel and was very clean, we are often spoiled with being able to check into a hotel an hour early but this wasn't the case here, however the front desk staff was lovely. Once we were able to get into our room it was very clean and very nice. Continental breakfast was perfect for kids in sports.

The televsion in the room did not work. We had gotten in fairly late (around 10:30pm) and my husband tried to turn on the tv for the kids and it wouldn't work. We called the front desk and the lady came up and tried to fix it to no avail. We were informed that maintenance had went home for the night and she was going to turn in a work order. I would have thought someone would have checked the tv before we got the room. It sucked because of course after a ride you want to watch some television, especially the kids. But other than that the stay was fine.

We paid for a single king and were given a double full for a romantic night without the kids. When we told the front desk about the mixup, they told us because we went through a third party, too bad (basically). Thankfully they spoke to my husband about this and not me. The desk staff were dismissive and not very personable… seemed as if we were bothering them when asking if we could go outside on the patio after dark. Overall, I MIGHT stay here again, but I highly doubt it. Thankfully for them, they are the closest to the VA Beach Amphitheater. If not, they would never last.
