La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham La Verkin-Gateway to Zion

Our family stayed 2 nights here. We would like to come back again and recommend to anyone who wants to visit Zion National Park!

Extremely clean, even smelled great throughout. Also, the staff were all very helpful and welcoming. My kids loved all the breakfast options and outdoor pool.

Clean friendly hotel. Full breakfast bar included. The pool was a nice touch in 100 degree weather. We stayed here and drove up to Mt Zion. Would come here again with my two kids (9 and 12 yo).

We had a good stay with the family. We are always satisfied with the place and service of La Quinta.

The front desk lady who helped me type a letter from “tooth fairy” when my son lost his baby tooth- she was amazing!! She didn’t need to do that. I asked for a Pen and paper so I could write a letter from “tooth fairy” and she was so happy to type it up for me instead and made it all nice. When my son woke up the next day, he was so happy when he saw the “letter.” Thank you thank you!! Also, the other lady at the front desk ipon check in, thank you for allowing our friends to stay close to us- much appreciated it. Top notch service!

Quaint, it seemed family friendly, I was only there for an overnight stay but, it had all the amenities

My kids were really excited about going in the pool, but there were soo many bugs in the pool and parking lot area they couldn't. So that was disappointing. Also noticed the floors in our room were not very clean. Went to mop some drops my son left as he got out of the shower and realized how dirty the floor was.

Matthew needs to work on his social skills. He needs to speak a bit louder as well as following thru now quickly when something is asked of him. The hot tub was too hot and the pool to cold. As well as an employee's children swimming at will making it difficult for many to enjoy themselves!

The rooms were decent and clean. The problem was the lack of staff for the evening shifts. There was one person running the desk and tending to customers. He was very young and I feel inexperienced in running a front desk by himself. He was very pleasant but I feel he had to much to do by himself. In my opinion there should be more people running the desk for check ins and other issues that arise. We chose this hotel because it had a laundry room. When we got there 2 machines out of 8 were already out of order. There was another family using two washers and two dryers. They ended up having to go to a laundromat out of town because the one washer stopped running in mid cycle which left water all over the floor and the dryer wouldn’t dry the clothes. I tried to report it but no one answered my calls and no one was at the desk when I went down. When we checked out the next morning, the laundry room was still flooded.

Nice to have a hot tub. Breakfast had lots of good options. Rooms well insulated except there were kids up late at night upstairs jumping around and we heard them. It would be helpful if families with kids were booked on lower floors. Also, the TV's need a printed guide in the room. I called the front desk and he had no idea how to access the channel directory.
