Waited almost 2 hours for our rooms. Bags had already been taken by valet, so unable to change clothes while waiting, and ended up spending $65 in resort store to purchase swim trunks for my child. AC in room didn’t work, even after maintenance looked at it. Shower handheld grip was broken and almost hit my son in the face. Pillows were flat, and had to request extras twice because only two per bed provided initially. Overall a really terrible experience. Definitely did not have a “resort” experience.

This is a wonderful resort- will definitely return. Great for kids and families. Room service was fast and food was very good. The spa was INCREDIBLE.

Really great place for a family vacation. We did a family reunion there and everyone enjoyed it. A bit pricey but it was worth it in the end. My kids 5yr old and 8month old had s’mores, danced to live music, went on the lazy river, saw a movie outdoors and played in the playground. We only stayed one night but we will be returning soon to stay more than one night.

Loved this hotel for the amenities and lazy river. Overall, excellent place to stay with family for a relaxing trip. It is about 15 minutes from downtown San Antonio/Riverwalk. We were disapointed with the food on 2 occassions (room service pizza that did not taste good & dinner at Charlie's Long Bar with all dishes served cold). But, breakfast was good and lunch & drinks ordered at the pool/river were great. The property is beautiful and staff at the pool/river area were great, especially Antonio. I would definitely go back but would plan to eat dinner out - which is a bit tough due to the location.

Many family activities for small children: feeding wild life, free bikes for use, playground, baby pool, game room, etc. Unfortunately the food and drink situation for adults was not great. They were severely understaffed everywhere. It took 20 minutes to get a drink. Food was average to below average at best. they could make a LOT more money if they improved the food and beverage service.

Hotel was nice and very family friendly with plenty of activities. Gym was clean and had good equipment available. The food lacked flavor and quality for the price. You’re better off eating offsite. Same with the drinks. For a $15 dollars a drink, I better get top notch quality, that just didn’t happen. I’d bring my own bottle of wine for the prices. Also, our bed was lumpy and the pillows were flat. Still debating if this was worth the price. Kind of disappointed because we love Hyatt Lost Pines.

The Hyatt Hill Country is one of my favorite places to visit. It’s a get away within a get away. They offer so much on their beautiful property, you may but have to leave, but also across the street from Sea World and Fiesta Texas, or a 20 minute drive into San Antonio. House keeping tidied up everyday, doing the best they can around kids belongings. Some areas were currently under renovation (April), which limited dining and activities for older kids-adults. Lazy River and pool for the kids, separate adult pools (2) and hot tub for adults, plus a spa makes it great for adults.

Extremely charming spot with vernacular architecture. Golf, spa and swimming excellent. Great options for children's activities. Rooms comfortable (baths could be a bit larger but are modern). Dining options at the resort are good, but could offer more range. (I believe there is a new restaurant being built now)

There were renovations at the entrance of the hotel, and was near our room, so there was a bit of noise in the mornings. And the beds were not the best to sleep in, but otherwise the resort was great and kids had a lot of fun there.
