Best Western Plus Hill Country Suites

Tiny square pillows. Decent breakfast. Bed was acceptable. But we had kids in room above us that didn’t quit jumping until after I finally went to sleep after midnight. I went to the front desk 4 timesand my husband went once. I finally asked that if they couldn’t quiet them to please move them. They said they talked to them. But nothing ever done. They started back in at 7am & didn’t stop until they checked out. TOTALLY unacceptable. Ill never stay w this hotel again

This place is great. Check in took about 3 mins. Lobby was clean, they had hot tea (several varieties) and coffee available. The room was clean, including the bathroom (yay! no random hair in the shower or floor, the complimentary soap smelled wonderful), mattress is firm but not stiff (it is still very comfortable). Noise level was zero, no kids running around and no traffic noise even though it's right at a huge highway intersection. There weren't random people walking around the property so it felt safe. I would stay here again.

Everything was great about this stay (5 days) including the breakfast that had quite a selection of items. Eggs, sausage, waffles, potatoes, yogurt, fruit, pastries, etc. The only negative was that the breakfast room was too small to fit everyone on a weekend day. Those days, we took our food back to our room. Beds were comfy and they were very accomodating with our request of being on the 1st. floor since we had little kids and lots of "stuff" to bring in from the car. Lots of stores (Walmart, HEB) and restaurants close by.

It was the worst experience ever. We got to the hotel pretty late, after being in the car for over 6 hours. Our baby girl had a context the next morning, that being the reason for our trip. We got to the room and our key didn't work, went back and forth to the reception 4 times and they realized that the key reader was not working, and they would try to fix it the next morning, therefore every time we got out of the room, we had to wait for the receptionist to come and open the door for us. By the time we got settled in the room was 11:00 PM. The bathroom was disgusting. We had to leave very early that morning and got back to the hotel around 7:00 PM. The key reader was in the same stage and they decided to move us to a different room. We had an event the next day so I ironed our clothes and hung them and when we moved I took the hangers from one room to another, I was charged $50 for the hangers, and even though I've explained the situation, they didn't care, the receptionist, Mrs. Sheila was very rude and disrespectful. I also got charged for the room we moved out from for not returning the key , that never worked to begin with. I will never return to this hotel .

Clean, friendly, had amenities available that were needed (pack n play) and free breakfast was great with kids.

My family and I stay at many hotels throughout the year due to traveling for my daughter’s volleyball tournaments. While staying here our truck was broken into (handle ripped off) and everything taken out. We have never had that happen to us before and we are in hotels at least twice a month. Another family friend also stayed here the same night and the exact same thing happened to them as well. I will NEVER stay here again and I recommend that you don’t either- unless you want to risk damage to your vehicle and theft. Oh. And the hotel also made my husband sign an agreement that they are not liable for any damage or theft of vehicles. Should have know then that it was a sign. Not worth the cheap nightly price.

There were 5 of us, me and my husband and our 3 kids. e stayed in the double queen with a pullout sofa. The entire 3rd floor for 2 of the 3 nights we stayed reeked like weed. I made a complaint to the desk, but nothing happened. I asked for an extra bath towel since the room only had 4, and he said I needed to bring the dirty ones down before I get more, I had to explain 2 times there were 5 of us, and only 4 towels up there. Half of the breakfast machines did not work the entire stay. 2 of the 3 nights we stayed our key card would stop working and I had to go request a new one. Pull out mattress had stains all over it. The room haws 2 TV's and no remotes. I had to ask for one, and they said we only get one. The water pressure in teh shower was terrible. Overall a terrible stay.

Spacious rooms with great amenities. Our room had 2 nice sized tv’s which was convenient when the adults want to watch something different than the kids. We had 2 queen beds and the couch was a sleeper so it was nice to have that available. Our shower had a tub which was great for the kids and the wife who prefers baths to stand up showers. Definitely keeping this location in mind for future hotel stays!

The two rooms next to each other worked great for our family visit.

I got a bedroom next to the staircase (and people kept slamming the door late night and early morning). Having kids is CRUCIAL to get a restfull night for next morning travels.
