Home2 Suites by Hilton San Antonio North-Stone Oak, TX

PROS: Room was large enough for my 3 children, my husband and I. Breakfast was great- staff was friendly, Parking was good and the location was perfect. Cons: Carpets were dirty and stained. The bathroom has no fan and a barn door that doesn’t lock. Besides that- all was well and we didn’t have any issues.

We had a great experience staying here with our family and would recommend this hotel to everyone!

Great place for family

They stay was great. We are a family of 7. We stayed in the 2 bed suite with pull out sofa and it worked great. The fridge, microwave, and dishwasher was very convenient. The front desk workers were so nice and helpful. The breakfast wasn’t the greatest, but hey we made do. The pool was great, especially if you have little kids, the shallow end was only 6” and then the deep end went to 5’. We were about a 20/30 mi tre drive from the riverwalk. Overall will definitely stay again.

I called and was loss and the Crystal at the Front desk; was very helpful and patient with me, on the phone guiding me to the hotel. When I checked in I seen how busy it was and she was so Calm and patient. Then there is James who check us in and went over everything and greeted us coming and going. All the staff was so friendly from Breakfast, maintenance and the clean assistant. Property was so great and clean. Great place for family and pets. We'll be back.

The hotel staff was friendly enough. Although, the full breakfast was very disappointing. The "hot" options are pre-packaged portions that are warmed up. All very bland and in my opinion inedible. None of my 4 family members wanted to eat there again, forcing us to spend money elsewhere for breakfast each day. The hotel seems nee, but pooly built in the sense that you can hear everything within the hotel. People walking and talking in the hallway, im sure they can hear you as well. If you have someone in a room above you, prepare for it to sound like a wrestling match is going on above you. You can also hear yourself walking around no matter how soft you try to walk so I'm sure the people underneath you can hear you moving around. My door lock stopped working mid-stay casuing me to go down multiple times for a new key. The front desk said sometimes the lock resets itself and needs to be reprogrammed.. These are not exaggerated comments, I dislike when people make things seem worse than they actually were. I am not doing that here. I will not be staying at Home 2 Suites again, and i am very surprised Hilton put their name on this chain.

Great hotel for families! Clean and friendly staff

Booked here last minute over Christmas with two dogs and we're so thankful we found this hotel. The check-in was quick and the staff at the Front Desk was super professional and friendly. The rooms are clean and spacious, though not many toiletries outside of a bar of soap, shampoo and body wash, so pack accordingly but not a huge deal. If you are traveling with dogs, they are so dog-friendly here. We saw lots of other guests staying there with pooches, but am happy to say the hotel was immaculate - the rooms didn't smell like dog, neither did any of the shared spaces and the lawn areas were all cleaned up as well. They had a great complimentary breakfast too, that was more than just pastries and coffee - so we got a good use out of that each morning as well. We have family in the area now, so this will definitely become our go-to for when we visit with our dogs.
