Homewood Suites by Hilton Galveston

Property was closed upon arrival. They didn’t call to let us know. Drove around until 5am with children in the car looking for a place to stay. I’m very disappointed with this property. I don’t plan to book with another Hilton in the future.

Overall a good family friendly, good breakfast, pool, close to the beach. Elevators were a little slow and the ceiling fan was dusty but overall great stay. Would stay again.

Seriously the two people that worked front desk Feb 26th after 11:00 pm was very unprofessional, very rude, very prejudiced put me in a room that I did not book not understanding that when you book a room, you pay for a room that you choose of your choice, which is what I done! but for some reason it mattered to them that I booked third-party, which I’ve been having for years using Hotels.com with no problems, getting a room, paying for my room having the best service ever until I got to this hotel. That was the worst I’ve ever been in charging for things that was frre on the booking site! you better know just like they know I got them straight real quick play with somebody else other than me I have kids that don’t even play with me and the owners know how they’re acting they see them cameras they run them back they see all these comments and everything, so I’m guaranteed they approve of the way these people treat you cause they ain’t no way they felt it was OK. I was the wrong one for them to play with worst service ever!!!!! they thought they was gonna get my money and I was gonna just leave,NOPE I have people ya’ll don’t take cash cool, don’t think I don’t have money judging me by my attire and voice and knew then I’m black not white or hispanic they was asking to be talked bad to especially with me being with my kids!!!!

Absolutely terrible from the start. It took 4 hours to get my room. She said they were trying to get it clean. Well we finally get in and theres still hamburger meat in the floor. Not a huge deal. But we unpacked and went to bed. Woke up itchy the next morning, couldn't figure out why. But went to breakfast that morning. It was gross, everything is fake food. Eggs, gravey and potatoes were not edible. But McDonald's was close. No big deal. On to the 2nd morning, we wake up with bites all over us. 3 adults and 4 kids. Covered in red bites. Yes bed bugs! They were all along the mattress and the border on the walls!!! I told the people downstairs and his response was: its not his problem! Absolutely terrible hotel. Im in a hotel almost every weekend! Hilton is off my list

It was a great stay for my family of 5 (3 teenagers 2 adults) and our dog.

I booked a room for myself, my husband, and three kids. The front desk staff member was very nice and check in was speedy. But It would have been great to have been given enough linen up front for all of us. Perhaps even just enough pillows for five people. (We had four) I did call the front desk and ask for additional linens, my husband even went to the front desk and offered to pick them up and take them back to the room. We were told someone would bring them, but no one ever showed. There weren't even linens available in the room for the fold out couch nor did we ever receive any. It was a little after midnight when we arrived and at someone point we just gave up waiting and fell asleep on what we had available. I don't typically leave a bad review but I was so disappointed in the experience, especially in a Hilton hotel.

Very nice clean property - have a nice small basketball court and a small pool that was nice for my kids ..

Thanksgiving Day family dinner overnight stay.

We chose this hotel because their pet fees were more reasonable than the other hotels. Hotel was really nice and the staff was very friendly. Good breakfast in the lobby. Nice splash pad and basketball court for the kiddos. I would definitely stay here again!
