Holiday Inn Express And Suites Galveston Beach, an IHG Hotel

Beautiful view from our room. Staff was nice and courteous. The breakfast had plenty options for anyone. Pool was perfect for my kids. Location is very good. Within walking distance to everything we wanted to do.

Beautiful hotel property and room. Staff was slow to check us in. Outside door around pool area was broken leaving my family stranded outside to walk all the way around back through the front lobby. Key cards stopped working and needed to be reset. Great options of foods and snacks in the lobby for purchase.

Location was great, just across from the beach and plenty of eating establishments close within walking distance, the only thing i was taking back about was there were alot of kids everywhere which means local schools had not yet commenced for the year yet -- otherwise Galveston is a pretty good fined for vaca time....

Unfortunately check in was not great, as front desk attendants are overwhelmed and barely speak or look at you.Kept getting disturbed by front desk the day after check in for an error they made. Beds were not comfortable for me. Room layout is not great for small kids. Shower pressure is very low and not great after a day at the beach. Will not return.

I rented 2 rooms and I understand they were so busy the night before but I couldn't check i my second room till 7:15 pm. Without no apologythings for what so ever. My grandkids got 3 things from the snack bar totally 12$ you would of thought they wpuld comp it. Nope just rude. Will never stay or recommend this place atall

i do not recommend if you have kids. People dont respect site rules. unbelievable

We spent the whole day on the town and used the hotel only to spend the nights, it worked. Check in was very disappointing. I took the option to pay when i checked in; however, i received a text the checking day morning saying i had to complete the payment before noon to warranty the reservation. I called and the saw i had to pay when i check in so the operator confirmed my reservation was secure. I arrived to the hotel at 12:30 and asked to pay the room and the person in the front desk told me my reservation was secure and I had to pay after 4pm, the check in time. I went to the beach with my family and returned at 6:30pm and the same person in the front desk told me i had to call expedia for them to find another hotel for me because they were oversold and had no rooms available for me. I explained to her that i wasn't going to call because i wasn't going to solve their problems. I wasn't going anywhere until they solve the problem. If someone had to call expedia they were the ones, not me. They confirmed 3 times to me my reservation was secure. So i stayed there and they "found" a room available for me in less than 5 min. So, what is the point? They told me they had no rooms but they had. I appreciate they decided to give me that room they denied 5 minutes before but i consider the worst possible service sending the client at 7pm in high season to go around and find a hotel or call someone else to do it. Very disappointing service.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is awesome beach front and close to everything Galveston. The restaurant next door has great food and is family friendly and has a bar for adults. Lets not forget the competitive price with breakfast included. My family and I look forward to staying there again.

Paid for beach front view king size room. Woman at the desk insisted she was going to bump me up and acted like she was doing me a favor. I was pleased. Got to the room. It was an ADA room (which is whatever but def not a bump). With a partial view of the beach. Beach front view is a little deceptive of a description for how the hotel is situated. Also the balcony was covered in bird poop and a family of pigeons lived there and were unphased by us wanting to enjoy the balcony. Just felt the hotel was a little pricey for what we got.

Came for weekend getaway with the kids and this hotel was great. Def will come back
