Baymont by Wyndham Galveston

We had a good stay all EXCEPT the d fact that it was impossible to sleep past 8-9 am because either the staff or a very disrespectful family that would SLAM their door REPEATEDLY over & over that literally shook the whole building!!! I mean this was not just one door slamming one time, it was over & over from about 8 am to 11 am!! Very very aggravating!!! I mean come on people, have some f*#cking respect for other people. Which now that I think about it, it had to have been the staff beginning to clean the rooms or something. Like, hey get up & out so we can clean the rooms. Idk & can’t be for sure which one was the problem but it definitely made me not want to stay there again. Good luck people!!

We stayed at this clean and family-friendly hotel with our toddler and teenager, and we all enjoyed the spacious room. The pool was a great addition to our stay. In addition, we took advantage of the laundry facilities and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast.

This was a nice choice for a family vacation. The hotel was clean and comfortable and right across the street from the beach. I will stay there again!

The property is looking tired. The dining area was too small for the number of guests. The breakfast selection was small in range and the quality was poor. It was disappointing to eat off paper plates, and use polystyrene cups and plastic cutlery. The pool needed a clean when we stayed and the pool towels were far too small for anyone other than a child. The air conditioning system was noisy and each morning we we were woken by construction work. On the other hand, the staff were incredibly polite, helpful and friendly, and the common areas were regularly cleaned. The room was a good size and having a microwave and fridge, whilst common in the US, is not something we expect in British hotels, so was appreciated. The hotel’s location is good and there was ample free parking.

The hotel is very clean and affordable. It's very close to the beach and restaurants. It was a great experience. Our family would definitely stay there again.

I’m traveling w family members w mobility issues. Check in was courteous, quick, easy. Our room is accessible, on first floor 😃👍

We really enjoyed our stay here at the Baymont the staff are super .. very friendly and always available for any kind of help. I will stay here again ,very clean and large rooms with plenty of parking. The kids loved the pool. Very pleased And very recommended.

The family room was awesome! The pool was small and be early to breakfast if you want a table. I would go back again.

Enjoyed my stay. Hotel was clean, staff was very friendly and check-in was fast. The rooms were very quiet. With a hotel full of kids, I expected lots of noise but there wasn't any. I can't review the pool, we didn't use but the area around it is nice. Continental breakfast was the usual fare. I will definitely stay here again!

This trip was for a memorial for a family member. Marisol decided to cancel my reservation instead of offering a simple explanation as to why she decided to charge me the full amount of my stay at 7:30am the day of, instead of letting me pay at the facility like I had chosen online. Baymont at Windham has terrible staff
