Homewood Suites by Hilton Amarillo

Friendly check in, clean and comfortable, and felt very safe with our three kids and the luggage on top of our car overnight.

The night we checked in the front desk person checking us in didn't have rights to the system so we had to wait until they called. We also had 2 fur babies and was trying to pay the cost. It took 3 times to get keys for our room. By this time it was late and we had just drove 600 miles. The beds are like sleeping on a rock. At 2 am the ac stopped working, finally got it to come back on at 4am. A soap dish in the shower was broken, they then tried to blame it on us. They also accused of trying to scam them with the dogs. The person chexking ua never put it in th computer. They changed us to another room the next day. Which was the day of my grandmother's visitation so we had to run after moving. Got back and the light in the bathroom didn't work. We showered in the dark. Didn't feel like changing rooms again. The rooms need made renovation. Wall paper peeling from walls. The pool wasn't operating. The breakfast was ok.the coffee was like drinking flavored water. We booked a suite and it was smslledt room we have been in at Homewood Suites. In all my years of being a member this is the most negative I've ever been. Usually i have no issues.

This was our 2nd time in the hotel. The stay was quite pleasant, we were given a different room which had a updated electric stove. All the kitchen appliances were new and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The chef went out of his way to make customized hot breakfast for my kids .

Hotel was nice. We loved the room with the bedroom door. The staff was super nice and helpful. The only draw back was that the bed was not very comfortable and the pillows were not great, but other than that we enjoyed the stay! We took a late night swim in the pool, my kiddos enjoyed it. Breakfast had many options too.

We were spending a few days in Amarillo for a baseball camp and needed something as close to “home” as possible to keep everyone’s sanity :) this hotel checked every box of what we needed. The front desk staff are top-notch! They were extremely helpful and made our stay stress-free and relaxing. The outdoor pool was refreshing and was a comfortable temperature. The kids loved it! The room had a few issues- uneven tiles and sloped floor in the kitchen, and a large gap at the top of the main door between the door and the frame. But the room was spacious and comfortable! We loved having a full-sized refrigerator to store food and beverages. We will be staying here again in the future!

I had my daughter, son-in-law, and 4 rambunctious grandchildren under the age of 7. We had a suite on the 2nd floor. Next time I’ll request the ground floor so as not to worry so much about disturbing the downstairs neighbors. However, our suite shared only one wall with the suite next door, the shortest wall possible. It made it much less stressful for our stay. And, they had a portable crib available. We were very satisfied.

The front desk was very nice. I’m guessing Roger his name.. I love staying at Hilton properties for my big family..

Overall the hotel is nice, convenient and spacious. We weren’t given any info on breakfast and it took us a few minutes to figure out where our room was and then where to park. Breakfast bar was okay. It’s a small space for a lot of people. I did see a worker take the trash bag out and handle the garage can without changing her gloves afterwards. However, we would stay there again just because the rooms are so spacious for a large family.

Great stay! Beautiful room with lots of space for my family of four. Hilton never lets us down on comfort!

The lady at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. The hotel lobby and breakdast area were very appealing. Our room was spacious. The coffee table was broken. We had a king bed suite. Our kids slept on the pull out couch. Upon pulling out the bed, we found a lot of food. The couch is not heavy, this should have been checked by cleaner
