Favorite in area so far! Very kid friendly and clean.

I travel frequently, but this was the first time I ever felt so unsafe. We were attacked in the hotel lobby by a group of people, and the front desk staff were not trained to handle such situations. We asked them to call the police as things became dangerously tense. The front desk attendant temporarily placed us in a stairwell room to keep us safe until the police arrived. With three small kids, it was our only option, and we stayed there for over half an hour until help came. The police did a great job, and we're grateful they helped us leave safely. It's incredibly unsafe place. Despite not spending the night, the hotel refused to refund our money claiming they aren't responsible for incidents not directly caused by them. We ended up staying elsewhere, which was a vast improvement. No money in a world worth more than life and safely of children. I strongly advise against staying there, especially if you have children with you. Please stay safe! Do research about the area! Horrible experience!

The hotel itself was one the best budget hotels we've stayed at in a while. There was a pool table downstairs, board games and 2 swinging egg chairs for the kids to hang out and relax. There was also a outdoor pool and fitness center. The beds/pillows were comfy and the included breakfast was good. The automatic pancake maker was a hit and my son had lots of topping options to choose from! Rooms were clean and soap/shampoo/conditioner were of a higher quality than you'd typically see in this price point. We will definitely be staying here in the future on our next visit to Charleston!

Great hotel very lively and entertaining with kids. great customer service. I am a Hilton Honors member we were made to feel very important great job. this was the second time I stayed within 3 weeks we will be back

the service was excellent, but this hotel does not have enough insulation. The room on the side had loud music all night, they changed my room and the next day some children ran and screamed in the hallways, and on the top floor, everything that happens outside can be heard. definitely a hotel to celebrate, shout, listen to music without control, but definitely not to sleep and rest. I checked in the last night and I couldn't finish my stay, it was impossible to sleep.

My stay was a bit of an inconvenience & staff was unwilling to assist or help. I was placed on the 3rd or 4th Floor, can’t remember which! However, the elevators were broke & guest received absolutely no notice or warning of such. I waited near the elevator with bags filling my arms along with a pregnant mother (carrying food)with another small child in a stroller. We waited approx 15mins till I went to the front desk to ask & was told the elevators are down but the stairs could be used. I told them I could carry all my bags up the stairs without assistance & they just said sorry nothing they could do. The pregnant mother also went to the front desk at this time & was informed the same. In front of the staff I asked what floor was she on & she replied 2nd. I asked the hotel staff to hold my belongings while I help the mom up the stairs… really in hopes they notice guest are assisting their customers when they should be doing so for the inconvenience.. let alone I would then have to go back down to get my things to walk back up to my floor. They did absolutely nothing but turn a blind eye. The mom felt bad & said she would spend the night out elsewhere cause she didn’t want to inconvenience me with her problems of helping her. So she left! I then had to walk up & down multiple times for food, water & other activities and such! I should’ve request a refund of some sort for all the inconveniences of staying there.

It was very clean and the front desk and cleaning staff were very warm, accommodating , and friendly! I would definitely stay there again and will recommend the hotel to family and friends!

It is a newer hotel, but not very practical for anyone traveling on business. The bed was uncomfortable also, Stay at the hampton - they are a hilton family hotel and very awesome!
