Avista Resort

This was my first time at the resort. Will definitely be booking again in the future. Staff were friendly from check in to check out. I didn’t run into any issues but I’m sure if I had it would have been taken care of promptly. The room and resort were very clean. The room looked just like the pictures showed on the booking site I used. Easy access to the beach and once we got too hot on the beach we enjoyed time in the pools and lazy rivers. Enjoyed the hot tubs in the evening. I was there with a friend but the place is very family friendly. Thank you Avista Resort for a wonderful stay.

It was very nice and comfortable for our family of 7. We got the 3 bedroom and it was perfect. Great pools and beach access.

The hotel was amazing and the staff on site were awesome! The restaurant staff, Ms. Lee in particular, was friendly, congenial, and ensured that my family and I had everything we needed. Also, when we were checking in, the gentleman, Andre, assisted us with our luggage. He was very kind, helpful, and patient. The housekeeping staff were also kind and helpful. I will not hesitate to return to this hotel in the future!

Everything was good. My only complaints are the elevators are a bit slow for the amount of traffic the hotel has. The parking garage is very tight and difficult to maneuver when cars are coming and going. The parking spaces are so tight which makes it very difficult for getting small kids in and out of the car.

I loved everything about this resort. It was nice, clean, and very close to the beach! The room was nice and clean, the hotel even has a restaurant. My kids and I enjoyed the pools as well

Had an amazing stay very clean kid friendly

Our room was clean and the bathroom spotless and in excellent condition, which is often not the case with beach rentals. Lots of amenities, which is to be expected at this price point and for a "resort", although we didn't utilize most of them. The breakfast was expensive, and since we had a small kitchen, we opted to make our own. I have three "complaints". First, there was a DJ playing music at the pool all afternoon. He and the music were both VERY loud, which we couldn't help but hear, even though we were on the 5th floor. But it was so loud, we didn't want to sit on our balcony while he was playing. Second, the A/C was very loud, and it appeared the thermostat was setup backwards, in that it display the setpoint NOT the actual temperature. (Never seen that before.) Third, I began discovering various itching "bites" on me the morning we left, which I determined to be bedbugs. This facility is a better fit for a family with kids, vs. the three us 60 year olds

Great stay for the family!

So the place was not that easy to get in and out of as far as access to the beach and the parking is across the street and up a parking garage, it was very hard to get in the parking spaces. The pools inside and out close early. The view was very nicethough. And the rooms were set up. Really nice with very big bathrooms. Handicap, excess is not very friendly, but this place is more kid friendly

This is a great resort for families! The beach access is great, and there are a number of indoor and outdoor pools as well. The restaurant in the hotel is really good. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfy and the full kitchen is super convenient. We have a 3month old baby, and the room was great for him. Definitely would recommend, and will stay here again when we return to NMB.
