I've stayed here several times for the pool and breakfast. The rooms are fair, but there was trash left in mine this time and I noticed several small things around the property that needed attention. Worse than that, my room was somehow checked out to another guest after my child and I had already settled in. She walked in, and i thought I'd left the door unlatched by mistake and she'd wandered in. Nope! We compared cards from check in, and the same room number was written on both. When we went to the front desk, they said they had no record of me checking in which was why they were able to check my room out to someone else. They found the paper in some random place and apologized, but that could have been a bad situation.

Would love to see dedicated EV charging installed! I was able to use a dryer outlet by parking next to the laundry area and using an adapter I already had, so I made it work and staff was helpful in accomodating. AC was really put to work during a heat wave and it kept up superbly. Breakfast was good, pool is more than you'd expect and kids loved it, we were comfortable and it helped make our stay in Charleston that much better. Thanks!

This property is run down and not clean. The check in was unfriendly and unprofessional. An added touch was the poor man who ran in barefoot and panting begging the hotel staff to call the police as he had just been mugged at inside the hotel. The woman at front desk barely flinched or showed any concern as it seemed to be a regular occurrence. Quite an experience for our children that were traveling with us.

Check in was pleasant and the staff was amazing. The room was a bit dark as it was all painted in a single color, even trim and doors, but tucked away from the road noise. Beds where very comfortable. Pool grounds were nice and the lady came around and treated us with bottled water and popsicles for kids. Breakfast was nice even though we didn't get all that was offered as we showed up right before closing. There was some confusion with our payment. We booked thru Expedia and we also charged by the hotel. A single phone call quickly fixed the problem. Enjoyed our spontaneous stay at this place!

The pictures are very misleading. Our room was dim. We had to turn on every light to be able to see. There was something on the mirror (looked like something splashed on it) and the carpet was nasty. I put my bag down and there was stuff from the carpet stuck on it when I picked it up. We got there about 7pm and on the way to our room we walked past 2 guys maybe 20s smoking pot. I don’t care but we had to walk past with 2 kids. There was hotel staff around when we got there walking in the parking lot and they said nothing to them. They had hotel chairs outside the door and didn’t seem to be trying to hide it. In the morning they had left a beer can in the middle of the walk way. It was gross. Breakfast was nothing fancy but edible. Amir I believe was the name of the girl doing breakfast the 2nd day was hardly in the breakfast area so many things ran out and nobody could find her. Tammy I think was her name did amazing and was very friendly. Also the toilet sucked. It hardly flushed and then would run loudly for at least 20 minutes. The shower had a yellowish stain and the water took a long time to get warm. The area the hotel is in is also a little sketchy. A decent amount of homeless people walking around. Traffic getting in and out of the parking lot is rough. We waited 5 minutes at least trying to leave every time. Cleaning staff can be pretty loud as far as talking (more like yelling) in the hall. I wouldn’t stay here again. For what you pay it’s meh.
