The hotel location was nice. Quick and easy drive to downtown. The only thing that we didn’t like was the hotel gave the kids to our room to another family at 10 pm at night. We were occupying the room and another group barged into our room. The hotel could never give us an explanation of exactly what happened.

I loved everything about my stay there beginning with a welcoming and efficient check in by Serena. She was friendly and knowledgeable and a perfect host. The well-appointed room had an amazing view. The breakfast bar had an array of delicious, well prepared food and proximity to local eating and shopping was excellent. I can't wait to return and tell all my friends and family too!

We stayed for two nights and enjoyed so much our stay that first, we didn’t want to leave 😁 and, secondly, we would definitely come back. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, we received quite a nice welcoming package with sweets and chocolate that kids and us loved, the room was spacious and clean, we got a studio with a nice Riverview, and had plenty of place for 5 people, the beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was great. Definitely the overall experience was great.

Good overnight stay with family. Good space in the suite and love having the sink separate from the bathroom itself. Makes life much easier with multiple people in the room. All in all a quality stay at a nice location. Views of the river and Charleston downtown are really nice bonus on the location and only about 10-15 minutes into the historic district. Service was fine. Elevators were slow and seemed a bit suspect so we took the stairs a few times.

While this hotel offers free parking and free breakfast, the positive ends there. All the cons other travelers described were spot-on. During our stay, it was particularly difficult to understand why our room didn’t get cleaned and towels replenished the second day after asking the housekeeper directly and then again making sure with the front-desk staff. While they seemed to have the Southern charm of friendliness, they didn’t seem to understand the issue or to provide a satisfactory answer. Our family did enjoy Charleston but we sure won’t be staying here again.
