Red Roof Inn & Suites Middletown, RI

Hotel was pumped with perfume. Coffee machine out of order. People living there full time with kids. Window was cracked. View was of a side alley with commercial business. Wouldn’t stay there again. Not worth the price.

Very very basic motel. Looking for something close to Newport that wasn’t astronomically priced. Weekday rate was decent but weekend rate doubled. $250 a night for Red Roof Inn was ridiculous. Room was big and bed comfortable. Smallest bathroom I’ve ever seen. Our room was right off lobby which was filled with noisy kids running around at night. Room doors are not sealed at bottom so you can hear everything outside door. Probably would not stay again.

We arrived to a sink and toilet full of dark brown "water". Although the poor young kid at the desk was not responsible for this her reaction was tell tell us to run the sink and shower until it cleared up. When I was checking in at the desk the maintainance man was on a ladder cutting a pipe with a blow torch. The pipe came off bounced and hit my leg. He was apolegetic and I was not injured but the place was disgusting. I feel sorry for the staff that have to work in such appalling conditions. After letting the sink run for 20 minutes with no positive results we left and I asked for a refund. They said it could be up to 5 days to recieve it and I have not of yet
