Homewood Suites by Hilton Newport Middletown, RI

Really well-run hotel that was close to Newport's main attractions. As well as offering a great family suite, the hotel service was very helpful, and they provided an extremely good breakfast.

The staff are the best here. The rooms are large, they can be adjoined for families.

My only complaint is that I booked for 2 adults and 4 children. I spent some time finding a hotel that could accommodate that number. This hotel came up as a result which could accommodate us with a room that had a separate queen size bedroom and a pull out couch for two. It said rollaways would be available for the other two. When I arrived there were no rollaway‘s in the room so I went to the front desk and asked for them and they said they could only do one rollaway because of fire code. I said but it was booked as six people where are they going to sleep? The front desk staff didn’t seem too concerned about the mixup and basically said ‘you get what you get when you book online and we have no other rooms available to put you in.’ So, two kids shared a rollaway. Pretty tight and not a great sleep for them.
