Philadelphia Marriott Downtown

Enjoyable stay except for the pack of unsupervised kids riding the elevators and running around. They were having fun, though. Room was very nice. TV didn’t work well and windows were very dirty. Everything else was very good.

Room was dirty. Pool area was dreadful Very good location. Booked a room for a family of 4 with breakfast but was told breakfast was only for 2 we would need to pay for the the extra 2 breakfast

Overall my experience was fine, however I want to check out late and ask the front desk and was deny. I don't understand then what is the purpose of being a member and I couldn't check out later - It would of been great if I could check out late especially since I had a 2hour drive and was traveling with my child

The Marriot is my best choice wherever my family travels to.

Everything was smooth and friendly from the valet service including the front desk personnel to checkout! Wonderful experience for my family!

The hotel was nice and clean however a few things which need improvement. After a long drive to the hotel, valet was full and we were left to find parking on our own. While checking in, we were told the room I booked was not available. We were than offered another room. After we said yes, we were than told they had a 2 queen available however not with the windows I booked. Staff shared the room had submarine windows and would not do well with someone who is claustrophobic. Since I am claustrophobic I had to decline this room. We were than told the original room I booked was now available. This makes no sense and one can only assume some type of sketchiness. We also assumed the pool would be heated however false advertising. The pool was very dirty and cold. This was upsetting due to my kids wanting to swim. This is the only reason we picked this hotel to begin with. Staff was nice and the room was extremely clean and comfortable.

Everyone at the property was kinda and caring. Facility was very clean. This was an unplanned stop in Philly after a flight cancellation. Everyone at the hotel helped ease a stressful situation. We were traveling with our family of 5.

Upon check-in, we were told although we booked a room with two queen beds, the only available room was a king and a sleeper sofa. Despite promises of 24-hour staffing, there was no one available to provide any kind of luggage cart to help maneuver suitcases and 2 small children "through the lobby, up the escalator, take a left then a right over the skybridge, past the convention center hall, then a right then the elevators on the left to the 8th floor." There were no sheets/pillows/blankets for the sleeper sofa. We called, and about an hour later they arrived. Which by itself isn't terrible, however the hotel knew a reservation for a room with two beds for four people was being displaced into a room with a bed and sleeper sofa. It would seem reasonable to ensure that room had appropriate linens for all occupants. Upon check-out, we waited at the bellhop desk to ask about luggage storage, which is listed in the available amenities. No one appeared. After 15 we asked the staff outside for help. We were told "oh someone usually shows up." No one did. The hotel seems under staffed and was not a pleasant experience in general.

Staff was super friendly and amazing hospitality. Brian, one of the bell man was very knowledgeable and super kind just an over all joy to be around. Looking forward to my stay with my Marriott family again

Excellent place to stay with family members. Neat, Clean, and large rooms.
