Rooms a bit older, for the breakfast we had to wait more than 30 min to be served. Also we were 2 adults and one kid, the kid couldn’t t get the breakfast with the price of the room…

Started off badly at check-in. We were supposed to get a complimentary drink per person for the stay. They offered us bottles of water. Not kidding. Then during our stay, the HVAC system was so loud that we had to turn it off at night to sleep. And over the two nights we stayed, our room was never cleaned by housekeeping. When we left midday the second day, we stopped by the front desk to let them know we would be out for 4-5 hours and asked for our room to be made up only to come back to nothing being done. Told them again as we were leaving for the evening for a concert, gone again for 5-6 hours, still nothing. I have never seen such low service at a supposed 4 star hotel.

Kimpton Palomar was an extremely great place to stay for our family. The front desk was very accomodating, the parking was so easy, and the bell hops were very great holding our logic prior to check in and after check out. Such a great room and clean environment!

Location was amazing. The hotel is very clean. We stayed in a 1-bedroom suite, which I'd recommend to any couple + an infant. The extra room is worth the upgrade. There were a few drawbacks though. Despite the four elevators, they run pretty slow, so give yourself some time, especially if you're on a top floor. The phones in the room didn’t work. Room service doesn’t start til 9am. Incredibly difficult for parents. If you want a crib for your room, bring your sheet for the pack n play, if you have one. He slept in the bed because he was so uncomfortable. We'll think of this hotel in the future but maybe when our baby is older :)

We had a room with two queens. It was large enough for our family of 4 and the beds were comfortable. There was a small refrigerator which was good. No coffee maker in the room which was not. There was free coffee in the lobby that was about what you would expect. No minibar but you can buy alcohol if you want in the lobby. We had breakfast in the hotel restaurant and it was very good. A convenient location.

The area around the hotel was horrible. No dining available so had to go out with no recommendations. Was assigned a room next to two individuals who went out to a concert in a connecting room As we were traveling with children and had to get up early for a flight, we asked to move rooms.

Wonderful staff, super clean and close to everything. Could not have asked for better quick getaway weekend with my wife. Looking forward to coming back again for a night with out kids
