Hilton Garden Inn Wilkes Barre

We enjoyed a quick family overnight get away. The desk staff were very friendly and called our puppies by name each time we took them out. We used the pool and hot tub, which were clean, well maintained and fully stocked with towels. The beds are firm, but not hard. The room and common areas were clean. The breakfast situation was confusing as the waitress didn't explain that our voucher provided eirher 2 buffets, 2 orders from the menu or one of each. In the end, it got sorted. The food was quite good.

Great location, friendly service and comfy room. Coffee needs improvement. Pet fee was $50 which we thought was a little steep considering that our dog is much neater than a toddler.

Our king size room was perfect for my husband, myself and our 2 yr old twins (had 2 toddler blow up air mattress for them) with plenty of room to spare! Haven’t had the opportunity to stay in a hotel overnight in a long time but appreciated the use of Netflix and YouTube to occupy the kiddos which help make our 1st hotel experience much easier than I was anticipating!

The hotel was great overall. Being pet friendly however, was not good for the allergies of my wife and kids. There was also pet hair on our comforters. The staff switched them out. Just be mindful if you have bad allergies or dont like hair on your comforter that isnt yours.

Beautiful hotel, The rooms aren’t anything special but they’re clean. The bathroom is literally right by the entry door… that layout didn’t make any sense to me but it wasn’t anything worth complaining about. Best hotel breakfast by far, not the best but really good for a hotel, it cost about the same as breakfast at Dennys. My kids loved the pool it’s a small pool but great for kids. Staff was nice, hotel is clean…. Also this hotel is on a great location. You can look out your window and see Starbucks, chic fil a, Walmart, Chuck E. Cheese and so much more. There’s a bar in the hotel lobby really cute… really enjoyed my stay.

The property was awesome and convenient. I liked the fact that they had a dining option within the hotel and they had good food. Unfortunately the one thing I didn’t like was too many kids at the pool, and the water in the shower wouldn't get completely hot. I would turn the knob all the way over and it would not get any hotter.

First time visiting family in the area. Very happy with location - close to shopping and services, not too far from freeway, but just enough off the main road to be quiet. Got into our room early and took a nap after a redeye flight. Very friendly staff in all departments.

Good afternoon I will say that my check in was absolutely amazing and the rooms were OK I had a handicap room which was just fine. The problem that I encountered was that I was told that there was a free breakfast, that I could have service for cleaning upon request what I did ask for and that I saw her put it in the book and that I could have a late check out which I saw her put it in the book The next day the room was not cleaned which I needed it cleaned because we were part of a big hockey tournament and I was trying to stay on top of everything and I’m injured. And the lady at the front desk was so unbelievably rude and unkind. I know it was just room service but how she spoke to me was just unacceptable. Then I received a phone call on day of departure just making me aware that check out was at 11 and I said I requested a 1230 check out She said fine and then she had housekeeping come knock on my door and the nice woman at the front door said oh it’s you take your time don’t worry her name is Sharon and she was lovely and she told me that the lady at the front desk called her complaining that I was giving her a hard time which that is not my style in any way shape or form so much so that I ended up leaving the back door because I was extremely upset and embarrassed how she was doing that in front of my kids

Extremely nice accommodations for a one night stop over on long road trip with family. Fast checkin / out. Pleasant staff. Great breakfast!
