Holiday Inn Lancaster, an IHG Hotel

Staff was all so friendly and helpful. Very clean. Pool was great for the kids

The room and the door to the hallway was not soundproofed at all. The noise and talk in the hallway was so that it literally sounded like it was coming from within the room. The floor I was on had a lot of kids running around and there were several times late in the evening that I had to get up and check because when they were knocking on other doors, it sounded like they were knocking on my door. And even though my room was about 10 yards or so away from the elevators, I could hear every time the elevator dinged and everything people were talking about while waiting for it. Loudest room I’ve ever had. Also, I had reserved a room that was supposed to have a handicapped shower with a seat (as it is better for my husband who is an amputee) but it wasn’t. When I asked at the desk, I was told that they actually don’t have showers like that, there’s just bars on the wall of the tub/shower combo. However, the photos on the handicapped room choices show a seated shower.

Upon arrival to check into our hotel room that was already reserved and booked ahead of time I was immediately unsatisfied with front desk employees as well as their attitude towards myself and my family. I had made contact and reached out to front desk service twice before arrival of check in, during both convos with front desk prior to arrival they were amazing in my book. Both representative I had spoken with were very kind and willing to go above and beyond to accommodate any issue that may arise with my concern of wanting an early check in if possible. The process and availability of any possibility to arrival earlier than 3 pm was handled and I felt super confident with my family and our belongings being safe and cared for until room would be available for our check in. Manager on duty at front desk was very unhelpful and annoyed at the fact of me asking questions and trying to solve a problem that arose even though I was told different policy and procedures before arrival. If possible I would have just walked away and not stayed with this hotel if myself and family weren't depending on having that hotel roof over our head that night. Even after myself and family went out on our own to solve the issues at checkin the manager and front desk associate weren't helpful or trying to help resolve any of our issues.they were more annoyed and snapping on myself , husband and father in law for asking questions and making sure we knew the correct amounts being charged to each cre

Tha attached garage that is run by city was under repairs and had limited parking spaces on lower floors. It is located two blocks from the Saturday markets and offered a wide selection of social spaces for weddings or family reunions. Pool opened 24/7 and heated indoors. Didn’t like hotel adding an additional charge for room charges if I got any things from fridge or snack area and there was noting in room to drink except tea or coffee.

My stay was exceptional my family and i enjoyed it after a day on the road. Hotel staff was very polite and treated like family.

Hotel was good, not as great as we hoped so sure why review rating was so high? Our floor was very noisy after 10:30pm due to groups of children running/yelling in hallway so that also made our stay less enjoyable -

Stayed for one night. Glad to have a bath tub , refrigerator and coffee maker. They have a pool and restaurant. Lots of families. Lobby accommodate lots of meeting and seating areas. Located downtown Lancaster, five minutes from Amtrak train station and local bus station. Great time.

The staff was great at the front desk, check in was very easy. I will definitely be staying at a holiday inn again I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was! My family and I really loved our stay!!!
