Springhill Suites by Marriott Erie

Despite all indications that they had an indoor pool, we arrived to find it closed indefinitely. We picked the hotel because it had a pool. I had a very sad and disappointed 2.5 year old, and heard other families voice the same displeasure. I would not have stayed here had I known, and I feel as though this was false advertising. The room itself was subpar. The carpet had dried gum in multiple places, the bathtub was stained and there was a leak under the sink causing a creeping brown stain along the tile. Pros: beds were comfortable and the location was great, as long as you aren’t looking for something walkable. We appreciated how close it was to stores and restaurants, as well as the thruway. Quick to get everywhere.

Pretty clean and updated. The front desk lady was extremely rude and not friendly. I needed a room with a bath tub for my small children and they didn’t give me one. The pool had barely opened and was awful to swim in with the chemicals and the elevator was shaky, and scary. The breakfast area is way too small for the amount of people they had. Chaos and not well stocked for pool towels or the breakfast. Not staying again for that price.

There was a soccer tournament in the hotel. All the kids overran the halls unsupervised. And all the parents have completely taken over the lobby with a beer party. Absolutely out of control. So not stay here.

Room is spacious for our family of 5. Clean rooms, quiet hotel. Location is great. Close to highway, shopping and restaurant. Breakfast buffet is probably the best we have seen. Only negative, wifi didn’t work well in our room at all.

Everything was very clean the room was perfect for the four of us, the night we went there were a ton of kids so the pool area was a bit over crowded and very rowdy but other than that it was an enjoyable stay.

We traveled from Buffalo in hopes to enjoy Splash Lagoon. Mary commented on our boys shoes and thought she scared them away (haha, she absolutely did not!) and came out with a goodie bag with little toys and area details. Thankful for this as Splash Lagoon was overly crowded and we ended up sight seeing and enjoying the hotel pool! Loved the staff, Sherry was also AMAZING as well as the young gentleman at the desk. There was never a time an employee was without a smile. Normally I stay on site and this was our first time staying off site, but as Splash Lagoon comped us for the bad experience- we will 10/10 be booking our hotel stay with them again!!! Thank you for being so wonderful to our children!! We did ask for housekeeping; which were unable to tend to the room due to my husband putting the “do not disturb” on the door while we were away. I happened to be in the bathroom during this time and heard them knock, so don’t worry- they will clean your room if you ask! Love this place, and normally I’m a 5-star only type! I have no idea how this is only rated as 3 stars as the cleanliness was top notch as well as the renovations. And the breakfast was complimentary; not with surcharge as per website. As a special needs parent, this place is a comfortable and sensory friendly environment with a very understanding staff.

Our stay was phenomenal; The only thing is that when you have children in your room, they run and make a lot of noise and it doesn't allow you to rest. It would be very great if when people with children go to stay, they are guided so as not to run around the room. Thank you.

Stayed here for a family members birthday away from home. The staff allowed us to utilize the common area to have a small gathering to celebrate.

Upon entering hotel noticed a nice clean fragrance..great checkin. Room had great layout, nice finishes, and relaxing. Loved that our child (dog) was allowed to be a guest.
