Hilton Garden Inn Erie

The front staff were amazing. The woman during out stay was there when we checked in and checked out and went above and beyond. She is truly skilled and remembers family names and room numbers! Her memory blew my mind!

The outside of the building was dirty and unkempt. The inside was okay, the elevators were not clean, our room was dirty. There was garbage under our beds. The bathroom floor was caked in grime, our sheets and comforters were not clean and appeared to have been slept in. The pool and hot tub area was very nice and the staff was very friendly. I expected a higher quality of room and cleanliness from a Hilton Hotel. For the price, also, I believe that breakfast should have been included. I know that times are hard with every industry, however, times are hard for your consumers. Planning a get away cost a lot for a family and they save to do it. Expectations run high and quality is searched for.

We visited over Father's Day weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We booked the room with king bed and the whirlpool and found it spacious and clean. We also had an infant with us and they provided us with a pack n play. We had a minor issue with our door and were locked out of our room for about 20-30 minutes (the locking mechanism suddenly stopped working and we couldnt use the card or the master fob to open the door), but maintenance and management took care of it right away. We had dinner plans, so they fixed the door while we were out. They also offered us free dessert due to the minor inconvenience caused by the door and us being locked out of our rooms. The hotel was in a great location, close to downtown and close to multiple stores and attractions. Amenities and service were great, and staff was friendly. We would definitely come back and stay.
