This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. When we checked in the woman at the front desk was less than welcoming. Having to deal with her several times during our stay, she was rude, short and not friendly. We found a pair of dirty underwear near the bed, which is completely unacceptable. If my kids could find them, there is no reason a cleaning crew couldn’t find them. I had to call several times for towels, which never showed up. We also didn’t have our room cleaned 2 days in a row, which we asked to have cleaned multiple times. Again, the cleaning crew skipped our room. We witnessed a child vomit in the pool area, the next day and day after that, it was still on the floor, so the pool area is not being cleaned either. The breakfast area was dilapidated and dirty, there was no way I’d even let my dog eat there. We will not be returning, and I will be reaching out to corporate.

Hotel looks very nice. However the staff as shady business practices. I was told I could reserve the pool and it would be exclusive to my family, so I made a the reservation .

Upon check-in we were charged $50 per nights stay, which I totally get but it was a bit of a surprise. When I mentioned to the employee he said, “Well if you don’t tear the room up, you won’t have to worry about it and get it back.” The statement was rather rude in my opinion. I’m a 48year old woman and I don’t have any interest in “tearing up” a hotel room. Then about an hour into our stay the fire alarm goes off! I was in the shower and my husband tried to call the front desk but all lines were busy. We went outside all staff were outside, nobody said anything, not even the front desk staff. My husband walked over to one of them and asked what was going on and they said “something in the kitchen” we waited and waited outside. Thank god it’s warmer weather because wet hair (from shower) and skin would’ve not been good. No one took any kind of lead from the staff. I had to walk up to one of the firemen and ask if it was ok to go back inside. He said yes just use the stairs, elevators were still down. The entire staff was just still standing around looking ridiculous. Restaurant staff was rude. VERY reluctant to give my husband 2 wine glasses to take to our room. When handed the glasses the hostess said “I’ll see you later when you bring these back right?” Are you kidding me? We did not feel welcomed at all! And we were here celebrating 21 anni What makes matters even worse. My husband was watching the NBA final last night. And wouldn’t you know it, the power goes off!

I don't write many reviews. However, today, I felt compelled to. I am on a family vacation. Unfortunately, I had to get up and attend a business matter urgently in the middle of the night. Instead of waking my family up, I slipped out of the room to go to the lobby area to use the Wifi and continue with what I had to do. I thought that I could get a cup of coffee but the coffee machines are kept in the room for a guest's convenience. Brian, the night desk manager, slips into the kitchen gets me a cup of coffee and settles me right in at 2 AM in the morning. Not a murmur, not a complaint but with a smile. In a rather impersonal service world, it is moments like this that make your vacation at a hotel worth it. It is not so much the hotel amenities (It is a newer property so quite nice, in any case.), but the people who run it that make the difference.
