It looks like this cute little hotel was probably built in the 50s and they have taken such good care of it but there are still many things such as the wood paneling and the old lamps that give this place so much charm! They also had a really fantastic game room andAnd amenities room with coffee tea and towels or extra blankets if you needed them. The coffee machine in our room, number seven, didn’t work but we were right next-door to the amenities room which aren’t working coffee maker. Overall I just really love this place and it would be a great place to bring small children as well!

We brought our furbabies with us. All rooms are dog friendly. Nice grounds for walking the dogs. And firepits to hangout by. Overall, i would recommend.

Nice overnight stay here, this is an amazing location for family trips. Plenty to do at the resort i.e. game room, mini golf, walk to beach access. Mattresses were comfortable. We enjoyed the nautical theme of the resort and smore kit!!!

Friendly and helpful staff. Easy check in. Great property for kids. Only thing to be aware of is that some of the room are close to Hwy 101 so there is road noise.

I strongly disliked that I was unable to leave my dog in our room for any amount of time without someone in the room, especially since we paid a pet fee. I understand for extended periods of time, but I was literally running to the store down the street and got a call from the innkeeper that my dog can’t be left unattended. It felt like I was a child being scolded, and I was literally off the property for 5 minutes. I also disliked the black mold growing in the bathroom on the bottom of the walls. The place overall is pretty dirty and poorly kept. Some good cleaning products and updates would do this property so well. On the upside, there is a really nice bar on site that has an awesome bartender, they have really nice fire pits and outdoor activities at the property. It’s also affordable and close to the beach, so there’s that.

The Anchor Inn is a must. We loved it. It was comfortable and felt safe. Our dogs were welcome and treated like family. The staff was friendly and helpful. The vintage atmosphere made us feel as if we were transported back 70 years. Try it. You’ll love it.
