This was our second time staying at the Coho Lounge, and it was just as wonderful as last time. Comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, the smell of the ocean. When I reserved the room I failed to verify whether it would have a bathtub or not, and even though I called several times in the days leading up to our stay I was unable to ask about that. Our room had only a shower, but after explaining that their phones had been down, the desk was more than nice about changing our room to one that had a tub. The staff is very welcoming in general and always seems happy to help with anything you need. The room itself was beautiful, not over the top with useless decorations but well appointed, very clean. I really loved the use of real glasses and coffee cups, and even the large bottles of shampoo vs personal size, to lessen the waste of one time use products. Good hot water, fairly quiet for ground floor (it's spring break so there was bound to be kids around) and the breakfast is very good if you're used to usual hotel fare. Highly recommend if you're looking for a nice hotel on the ocean but have a budget. I know we'll be back.

Noisy rooms, and the staff is supposed to enforce the no children in the pool between 9pm and 11pm, but when I went to go swimming with my fiancé at 10:15pm. A Russian family of eight people were being terribly loud and the kids were jumping and diving in the pool and splashing everywhere. So when I went to the front desk to complain the guy told me that nobody was in the pool so he didn’t enforce the rules but he will go say something to them. He did eventually come tell them the kids had to get out of the pool. So we sat in the hot tub until that family left. Only problem was they didn’t leave, they took a good 20 minutes to get out. Then when they were still there I told them it’s after nine and you need to take your kids out of here it’s for adults only. They started to threaten my life and if I knew what was good for me I would shut up. So I went and complained to the front desk guy about how I was being treated. And his reply was if you have a problem maybe you should call the cops and he couldn’t help me. Worst ran place ever. If the employees just followed the rules none of that would have happened. Plus you can hear very loudly people walking around in the room above you. This is an overpriced worst experience place. Only positive is everything was clean and updated and good view on most rooms I think.

The Coho was a wonderful place to stay with family. rooms were large and nicely updated . The view was spectacular! Dog friendly, which is nice. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The beds were uncomfortable, but it’s a hotel not home. Will definitely come back!

They were so good to my Golden Retriever. They gave him treats and a ball, and welcomed him. Secondarily, the wind protected area with fire pits was comfortable and a fun place to watch families make smores and the sunset!
