D Sands Rentals

Had a girls weekend. Fit 5 adults nicely. Great location right on beach with easy access. Fairly quiet with a little road noise in the bedroom and could hear the kid upstairs running. Overall great experience. But room wasn’t vacuumed and pool and hot tub both had clumps of hair floating in them.

Very disappointed in our stay. We have stayed at D Sands many times but not for a few years and boy has it gon down hill. The door lock code literally did not work until 4:00 pm. We arrived 8 minutes early and had to sit in our car. We did go to the front desk because we had to use the restroom to see about getting in the room. The answer was no and we had to use the restroom in the pool area. Upon arrival in our room we were surprised to find a dirty room. Food and dirt on floor, hair on the floor in the bathroom, dusty...just dirty. I always bring clorex wipes just as a sanitary precaution (just in case)...amen, because we used the entire pack. We sweep all the floors and vacuumed. We did send a message and 50% of the cleaning fee was credited back to us. My family and i did not walk in the room with our bare feet. The kitchen floor was so sticky and dirty that i finally got on my hands and knees and scrubbed it with the sponge. I did not scrub the whole floor, i left a strip so they could see how dirty it was. This room has not been really cleanned in a very long time. The carpet was very stained and dirty. It either needs a really good shampooing or just replace. We did call around trying to find another place to stay but could not find a place so our choice......stay and keep cleaning or go home. Very sad. This is such a great location but some major cleaning needs to occur. I would double think before ever going back to D Sands. Again, very sad.

This was extremely awful for my family found sheets were dirty and stained, nasty sofa bed that was not only dirty but broken, i couldnit sleep on it. They brought air mattress, how do they expect an 82 year old disabled woman to get up from one of those maids changed all sheets and i crowded in with sons 80 year old disabled mother, was so ashamed. I had stayed in motel years ago when it was nice. This was not good. Quiet hour 10pm. 4 kids above us still jumping constant at 1am. Wow. Was refunded tiny bit , should have been at least half

Great place to stay, my family and i will be back!

We enjoyed our time there as a family we had several rooms on the property it was nice to have us all together we had easy access to the beach was very nice along with the beach views everyday .

Love the location and staff. HOWEVER! I was nearly crushed by the Murphy bed when it came crashing down after the spring made a very loud clink . If my child would have been the one to open it it would have possibly killed her or broke her neck. It knocked the hell out of me . I do t know what my injury are or if I just tweeted my neck . I let the front desk know in hopes that no one else be hurt . I reach out if any injuries are serious and pain does not subside

Very nice when in the room by the ocean. Super clean. Sooo loud though. Thirty feet from Hwy 101 on the bedroom side. Very unpleasant outside the room, entrance side. Still, far cheapest option with kitchen and able to sleep an entire family. Excellent views.

Great location and great place to stay with family or alone!

We loved our stay here. The beach was right outside with a beautiful balcony view. The unit was laid out great for our family of 5. We all had plenty of room. The kitchen had all the things we needed and we enjoyed having it with the kids. The beds were comfy. It was a lovely stay. Next time we will check out the pool. The weather was too good to be inside for our stay. We will definitely stay there again!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. We will be back, and going to bring our kids next time. Beautiful view and a very short walk to the beach. Reastraunts, fast food and stores walking distance. Perfect place to relax and get my zen.
