Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus Hilliard

I stay here every time I come to this area to visit family. It is very clean. Very well maintained. It smelled so good! My room was clean. Breakfast was hot! Tasty!

I have stayed here before because it is convenient to family that I am visiting. This trip was not as smooth as previous. The first room that I was being checked into keys did not work two times so the room was changed. I requested a room close to the elevator and got one furthest away. The business center did not work with room key and once in the computers did not work. The pool is noted by its door to be open 8am to 10 pm but at checkin they said 10-10( waiting for new sign). Previous trips I had been able to use earlier but this time I needed front desk to open( they did let me in at 940 but family came by after 10 and I had to let them in). The microwave in my room did not work. They did get it replaced. Tiffany, working at the front desk, was my problem solver or else the rating would have been less. I am returning to the area in August and plan to look for a hotel that has pool hours earlier in the morning.

Actually when we got here Hampton had cancelled both reservations leaving us high and dry. Other family members got their room but had to change rooms 4 times due to mold, backed up sink and turbo engine toilet. Hopefully will NEVER stay at another Hampton Inn.

Everything about our hotel experience was great. Though the only snag was there never any towels in the swimming pool area. They were like gold to find. Just towels overall we’re not easy to come by. But besides that our family with 3 kids had a lot of fun. Thanks.

Overall it was an good experience. We did ask to have our room changed when it was a apparent the kids in the room above us were not going to stop jumping around. Also, we stayed two nights but our bed wasn't made or new towels provided which we thought was odd. The staff was extremely friendly and the rooms were clean and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Staff was very accommodating. Good breakfast. The pool area was very nice however the chlorine smell was extremely strong and made my eyes burn a bit. My son didn't seem to care. Nice rooms and affordable for a family.

I will not stay at this location ever again. The inside pool was super cold it is not heated by the way. When i booked the hotel i was u aware there was boy soccer competition near by, so there were alot of kids at this hotel mostly under 10, sadly there was no monitoring by staff nor adults of the kids. It was pretty much staying at college frat house. Parents were to busy drinking and doing their thing vs watching there kids and staff seen the craziness, but just turned their head. At one time there were 10 kids in the pool and most of them were not being watched becuase the adults were to busy throwing back shots. My 6 year old almost got jumped on while swimming twice because kids were not being watched, so we could not swim, which was kind crappy. On top of that all you did was hear kids jumping, screaming, running around, so no sleep and no pool. I was in disbelief that workers were just letting these groups of kids run the hotel unsupervised. At one time in the gym room there was 5 kids trying the run on the treadmill at the same time again no supervision. So before you book here i would call and make sure there is not a competition going on, because it was a nightmare. For staff to actually see parents throwing back the shots in the comon area while their kids all under 10 is just running ruckus.
