Hyatt Place Columbus Dublin

This was the 2nd year we have stayed at your hotel when visiting family. We were very happy w/last year's stay. The issues this stay was: 1. Your cleaning staff are not conscientious at all. Your desk staff had someone re-clean the shower unused by us (appreciated !) Our stay was 3 nights and when they cleaned/straightened after the 2nd night; there was still a hair in the sink and I'm unsure that the counter was even cleaned. 2. It was extremely noisy at night. I understand that you must fill your hotel rooms but each of the nights had people running up and down the halls, with laughing and yelling to each other. I know you have the sign by the elevator: apparently meaningless ! We were on the 2nd floor. 3. We could see the hotel's 'aging', although we could also see that you were approaching some of this. 4. What we did enjoy was the bed and the sitting area.

The light bulb in the bathroom was burned out and the bathroom sink drained very slowly. The end table in the sitting area was sticky with drink marks. I had made the reservation for our family in my name thinking the rooms would be together but the best they could do was get us on the same floor.

Front desk employees especially Luetta went above and beyond to make sure my children enjoyed the breakfast time. Very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable.

The staff was nice and the breakfast was good. The rooms and hotel were clean. But not a lot to do with kids. Not very entertaining.

The carpet in our room needed replaced it was so stained and torn up. The down comforter had a hole that was spilling feathers everywhere and it was stained in a myriad of places. Really it needed to just be thrown away. The bed wasn’t made correctly and came undone in the middle of the night. And the tv was locked down so we couldn’t use our Firestick. But the breakfast was almost pre-Covid level of a full buffet. The pool was nice and the staff we interacted with were great. And they had a shower chair in the bathroom which is amazing to see and was a big help for my little ones so they could reach the sink.

Nice comfortable room. Hospitality and service was very friendly. A lot for kids to do in the area.

Very deceptive marketing in my opinion for 2 grandparents and 4 grand children. Tiny pool, double beds rather than queen size and a hide a bed couch that is so uncomfortable a 7 year old refused to sleep on it. No way will I ever recommend a Hyatt Hotel nor will I ever book one again.

Hotel and room were very clean. Outdoor pool was clean and kids loved it! Staff was friendly and very helpful and personable. Would stay here again.

Great family friendly hotel! Pool a real plus!
