Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dayton Southwest, an IHG Hotel

Close to Mcdonalds and wendy's and 2 large gas stations. Easy to get on and off I-75. Close to dowtown dayton. Enjoy the breakfast seating area to play games with my family.

I did ask Wasco and I checked in about 3:30 p.m. and I have a family member in the hospital so I went to the hospital got back to the hotel around 8:30 at about 11:00 p.m. fire alarms went off and me and the other guest we're left outside in tornadic rain for 2 hours I was told that there was no comps or discounts for the next day possibly. I drove 4 hours from Knoxville Tennessee to Dayton Ohio to be at a family member surgery 5:00 in the morning was not able to make it

My stay would have been great but there was children running all over the hotel with no supervision, knocking my door snd saying there housekeeper, we drove an 11 hour trip for a funeral, then there was the adults and children sitting snd playing in the hallway, just booming and banging I need a refund couldn’t get no rest the hotel shoukd know not to put kids on the same floor as guest with no kids. Just ridiculous

Staff went over and above amazing Service!! Have a loved one in ICU at near by hospital and made me fill like family and they can never know how much that meant in my time of need!! I would stay in this hotel a million times over!! Beds are amazing! Great breakfast but first and foremost the Level of Customer service was the best I have ever had!! Thank you Holiday Inn staff!!!!

There were children in the room above us and they were thumping around from the time we arrived. The desk attendant told me that if it continued after 10 pm he would take care of it.

The room needs renovation. The mini safe wasn't working. The glass doors in the shower needed new wheel glides as they were extremely difficult to open and close. There were signs of mildew all around the base of the shower basin. The toilet paper holder was coming out of the wall and needed better wall molly. Water pressure wasn't the greatest but typical of most hotels. Breakfast was fine nothing special but well stocked and all staff were extremely friendly. Occasional smell of weed on our floor (2nd) which seems to be the norm these days unfortunately! Parking was easy and the bed was extremely comfortable although it was much higher than normal for some reason which could present a problem for children or anyone who potentially falls out of bed. Our room was #201 for the sake of the maintenance staff who hopefully will take a look at the items mentioned. This was very good location for us close to Woerner Field to watch college baseball games at Dayton.

Check in was super easy! The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was nice, clean and big enough for our family of five.

Loved having the indoor pool for the kids . Also having the continental breakfast was a plus. So close to the venue to our event .

Enjoyed on night while visiting family over the holidays.

Our bathroom drain was clogged and I called many times but none answered the call. No ice bucket in our room. Beds are very high and may not suitable for small kids
