TownePlace Suites by Marriott Columbus Easton Area

We decided to spend the long weekend in Columbus to visit the COSI museum, Lego Center, Zoo and Aquarium. Since I have a 4 month old we decided it would be easiest if we stayed somewhere with a kitchenette that was close to everything. We opted for the Towneplace suites. The first night we arrived there were people running down the halls. Our neighbors were so noisy at 2 am that they woke the baby. The next day everyone needed to shower. We were going to bathe the baby first. As I was sitting in the tub, I noticed there was something dark on the shower curtain. I was confused because it's not like my child was muddy and splashing muck everywhere. I opened the curtain further and discovered that it was covered in mold. I was absolutely horrified. We immediately contacted the front desk who said that they would be replacing it. An employee brought up a shower curtain, handed it to my friend, and then left. We were expected to change the shower curtain and deal with the moldy one. When they brought a change of towels the next day, there was hair woven in. There had also been hair on the walls of the shower, leading me to believe that the bathroom had never actually been cleaned. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

The hotel was filled with teenagers. (I was told some type of sporting event going on) We couldnt enjoy any of the amenities..bar, pool table, outside sitting area…because every area was packed with unruly , rowdy kids. They ran up and down hall , yelling all night. I was jarred awake at 3am by hollering & laughter in the hall. We left immediately the next morning, exhausted. Im not sure what the hotels policy is, in dealing with out-of-control patrons, but at the very least, they shouldve been asked to leave the bar area so there was ONE space where adult patrons could relax. Our trip was ruined

Traveled with chiildren, so this place is good for families. The whole place was clean and the staff was excellent. Our only complaints was there was a strong odor of marijuana on several occasions over the weekend on our floor, enough that it came in our room when we would enter or exit. Then there was a few teenagers jogging down the hallway both nights between 12am and 3am until someone finally yelled at them. As far as the structure of the hotel goes, the rooms definitely need more sound barrier in the walls. Should not be able to hear normal conversations of your neighbors when they're not screaming. All in all, our experience was good. Would stay again.

Clean, helpful staff, close to shopping area great for families

Overall, very clean hotel inside and out, but we did find a bag of trash from housekeeping or those who stayed in our room previously in the kitchen cabinet over the refrigerator. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pool heater was broken during part of our stay- but that didn’t stop our kids from swimming!

Eating breakfast on Styrofoam made me feel like I was in a trailer park that doesn't care about its children's future. Getting a single use cork screw was also appalling. O

We had to last minute reserve a hotel when our flight was canceled. Our stay here made that disappointment not quite as severe. The staff was so kind, and the room so nice! Our family has decided that we only want to stay at TownePlace Suites when we travel!
