Aloft Columbus Easton

Great property with some odd features. First, the door to the bathroom was a barndoor type and offered very little privacy. You can hear your family doing their business in the bathroom. Almost felt like you were in the bathroom with them. Second, this property is across the street from a billard/bar and our room was facing this property and the noise from the partygoers was very noticable. Overall, it isn't the worst place I have stayed, but I probably won't be back as long as there is other hotels in the immediate area.

When we first got there, we got set up in a room and went up to the room to find out it was not even clean so they had to set us up in another room. 15 minutes after we were set up in that room housekeeping, just walked into our room, did not even knock Later on that night we had a screaming child next-door to us and I called down to the front desk to ask them if something can be done because I had to be up very early. They spoke with the person next-door called me back and told me that I could switch rooms at 10 o’clock at night .

I visit Columbus often and this weekend was a girls trip to get pampered for Mother’s Day. This hotel is a prime location to Easton. I chose it specifically for the close proximity to shopping and restaurants. Lobby has really great decor and had a great vibe. The room was very cute and cozy. It was spotless and smelled very fresh. There were Bliss toiletries in the bathroom which I loved! I was so excited to have this awesome room all to myself for the night and sleep like a baby. That was the opposite of what happened. My room was on the 5th floor facing Pins and it was the loudest experience I’ve ever had. Screaming and yelling over the loud music all night long was the last thing I expected. If getting any amount of sleep is important to you, I cannot recommend this hotel. It’s a shame because the hotel isn’t at fault and it is a beautiful place but I would never stay here again.

Great hotel! We were in town for a soccer tournament and the bar was fantastic for the parents and large lobby with pool table was fun for the kids . No complaints at all! The only recommendation I may say is our room was facing pins and the shades weren’t black out or dark at all . A lot of light shined in at night . But it really is a great hotel .
