Courtyard by Marriott Cincinnati Blue Ash

We needed a hotel for UC Bearcat family weekend since all of the hotels near UC were jacked up 5-6x in price. Blue Ash was a great location with reasonable priced hotels. Courtyard was new renovated so felt clean and fresh. The staff was wonderful. I will choose again when in the Cincinnati area.

This hotel was clean and well cared for. The pool was out of service for the majority of our stay. This was a definite inconvenience. While they did offer the use of the Embassy Suites pool across the street, this was not a good option as the Embassy Suites pool was overcrowded and unmonitored in relation to the unsupervised kids in the pool. The other issue we had was the fact that the elevator was inconveniently located and hard to access. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Toilet so small kids could barely use it. Room and door locks worked inconsistently. Room so cold my wife got chillls. Pool too cold to even put our feet in. Will not stay here again.

I loved the location to all of our friends and family. However, when we checked in, we had no air, (it was unplugged in both rooms), Lamps were unplugged, etc. These are nits but caused uncomfortable first night that we didn't have to go through. Coffee in the rooms was horrid but in the lobby was great. Sarah and Dorrian were extremely great people and over the 7 days, Connie the Housekeeper did a great job. Dave Smoot

The staff was courteous. The hotel is older and rooms were small. We had a patio door leading to outside and when you stepped out, you stepped out into dirt and mud. We had children with us who kept opening the door and stepping outside, so we had to put an end to that and watch them closely. The indoor pool was nice and well-kept. The room was small, but clean, but the sheets and coverings did not live up to the Marriott standard. We requested a cot upon booking, but were told, upon check-in, that it was a fire hazard, so one child slept on the floor (we were glad we had a sleeping bag with us). The rate was very good for a Courtyard Marriott). Overall, not bad for the price, but would not book it again. We will pay more and hope for a larger room, one that we can either fold out a couch or get a cot. Oh, there was no continental breakfast, but they did have a bistro that offerred breakfast, at an additional charge.

Easy checkin. Room clean and recently renovated. Quiet stay. Breakfast made to order. I brought my mom to visit family and she said this is the best hotel and breakfast ever.
