First off, the rooms were NOT clean in many parts of the room. Behind the bathroom door was caked on dirt and what looked like mildew or dirt. The hallways smelled like weed and that’s because the works were smoking inside the building. The toilet in the main office was broken. The hot tub was broken. The outdoor heat lamp was broken. We asked for a plunger for our broken toilet but it never came. We had to go back to get one. Overall not a very clean location that seemed very outdated. Smells of weed and dog pee was strong at different place around the property. A corner in our room had a water leak on the floor as well. I would NOT go back to this facility for work or with my family again. Zero stars!

Cons: Property was very outdated. Pool was in such bad shape that we didn’t even use it. Online Pictures were true to actual condition. Bad odor. Stains on carpet and sofa. Bathroom would not shut. Pros: friendly staff. Maids brought clean towels as promised. Decent value for work crews traveling but not families.

Paid for a week. Was charged for the entire stay a total of 4 times during that week. Guests behave like animals including taking all the free food they can find while ignoring the signs to limit what they take. Guests drinking glass bottles of whisky in the pool etc. Was assaulted by a guest and the front desk lady says they are not responsible to do anything. This is not a place to bring your family. Would be 5 stars value for the money if they didnt keep charging me and enforced the rules. Manager is nice and tries to fix the issues but the billing system is faulty and the front desk employees do not care about what goes on and tell you incorrect information constantly. Such as telling me the large charge on my card an hour before checkout was just a hold when it was a full charge for the whole week again and would make no sense to put a hold at that time.Even when the manager acknowledged the billing mistake the front desk was still saying garbage excuses.

I enjoyed my stay for the most part. It was quiet, and staff was helpful. Upon arriving I was not greeted by the male and female front desk staff, they were on their phones..I’ve received a warmer welcome in cheaper hotels. In the halls and elevator I did smell marijuana. While taking a shower the water wasn’t letting out properly so dirty water was accumulating while showering. The WiFi is horrible, even thought they tell you to join their rewards list for premium WiFi. It’s not good and I had to use my hotspot. This is good for a business trip alone or for two ppl. A family for a few days tops. Other than that no issues.

After booking a last minute hotel for a wedding, we were able to score such a nice room with Sonesta at an affordable price. Since we were traveling out of town, we needed to get in a room a little earlier than check-in time. The staff was so kind and accommodating and allowed us to check in a couple hours early due to our situation. The room we booked in itself was actually two rooms connected (one with a spacious living area, kitchenette, and couch) and another room with two clean and comfy queens for my spouse and our four kids. There were a couple closets (one in the bedroom and another in the bathroom). Plenty of space for a large family to get ready for a wedding and for small children to be occupied while doing so. We couldn’t believe we scored such an awesome hotel and will be staying again ☺️

We stayed in a 2 queen suite for a family vacation. The room was comfortable and quiet, though cleaning was not great (bathtub had mold spots and kitchen linoleum was dirty when we arrived). The pool is small but nice. The free breakfast was terrible - no drinks except coffee (not even water), an automatic pancake machine and a few microwavable sausage biscuits. We couldn't eat anything and the grandson couldn't drink anything. The location is a close drive to everything, but not walkable, as it's in a more commercial area. For the price, we would look elsewhere if we were in the area again.

Was very excited to stay at this property with all the excellent reviews and the family friendly ratings. Wouldn't stay here again. Extremely disappointed in condition of room. The sheet was stained so changed that to start with, no shower curtain and there was a huge crack/damage to shower all upon arrival in room. They could not move us due to being completely booked. I was ok with this as not much can be done. Then in the morning upon waking up....a huge leak happening in our bathroom. Their response was we will get to it tomorrow and still no way to move us. We checked out the next morning and I reiterated that there was a leak and damage when we arrived they responded we will most likely put it out of order as our maintenance person is off till tomorrow. Well, interesting as we were told it would be looked at on our day of leaving. In addition, the only hot portion to breakfast was pancakes. The muffins were stale and the donuts were crumbling. Not exactly a stellar breakfast. The pool was the only winning point about our stay. Secondly, there was a person in front of us complaining about not having hot water for the second day in a row.

This property shows up as a 8.6 on Expedia and a 8.4 on Hotels.com. Cincinnati must have low standards because this place is a dumpster fire. The hallway carpets are disgusting. 1st floor smells like cigarette smoke. When asked to find us a different room for our asthmatic child the lady took us to the 3rd floor where it smelled like weed. We reluctantly stayed the weekend b/c it was already booked and paid for, but I refused to even get in the shower because it was moldy and dirty. The breakfast was also cold prepackaged breakfast sandwiches that you could microwave. No one was consistently at the front desk. Pool was empty. Just a dumpster fire. ABORT MISSION and stay in Loveland, Ohio or at the Mariemont Inn on Wooster Pike in Cincinnati instead. Just be prepared to pay the price. And we paid A LOT for the condition of this hotel hotel. There are better MOTELS in Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Sonesta - NEVER again!

There isn't a cut off time for checking in. I got to the property late in the evening. The staff was very inviting. The room was clean and came with the perfect amenities to make it feel like your home away from home. Would highly recommend to friends and family!
