Expressway Suites Bismarck

I was from the online pictures under the assumption that there was a waterpark at this location. It was very deceiving how they have the pictures on the website. We were very disappointed as we had 4 kids to entertain.

This hotel was wonderful for our first ever one-night stay. We were in town to visit family and the reviews were accurate about the hotel. The rooms and spaces have all been newly renovated and updated and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Very reasonable for the amenities and the service provided. Definitely recommend!

Staff were all very friendly, beds were comfy, tub was clean. They’re currently redoing rooms the last room we had had the new furniture so it was a bit nicer but even with the older furniture the room was clean and comfy! We stay here often, the rooms are larger than most hotel rooms nice to have the space for the kids to play.

At check in the guy was friendly and kind and helpful!! Rooms were clean quiet and the beds are amazing!! I’ve stayed at this hotel for 10 plus years! While sleeping the fire alarm went off 2x and no smoke no commotion so we went back to sleep. This stay we went to breakfast next door because the breakfast there was nasty!! We came back to get our stuff and check out. We took a min to have birthday cake with my oldest son we don’t se often. In the middle of eating we had a loud long banging on the door. Opened it to find the front desk lady we had just said hello to in the lobby. Yelling at us that check out is in 10 min and after that we are to be charged a half a day and any longer we would be charged a full day, I was shocked and so was my family. So we hurried out and at the front desk we checked out and I asked for my receipt and was to I’d be e-mail it. Like I had paid second class. She never said anything about the fire alarm or sorry for anything! Then I explained to her how a customer should be treated!! Their breakfast was horrible!!! In all the times we have stayed we have never had suck a nasty breakfast!! So if you don’t mind being yelled at and nasty breakfast and fire alarm waking you up 2x you will love your stay here!!

It was close to airport. Pictures are deceiving..super noisy with kids running down hallway.

My biggest complaint was noise. The problem is two fold…hockey parents not supervising their children and letting them running up and down the halls yelling for hours and the staff not putting a stop to it.

Absolutely lovely, clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff, wonderful breakfast, great pool area and spacious rooms. The beds were comfortable and there were lots of pillows and extra blankets. The bathroom was sparkling clean with a fantastic shower. The location is a short walk from the mall and downtown restaurants and activities. An extremely fair price for a home away from home. Our family was on the road for several weeks and this was our favourite stop by a long shot! We will definitely stay here again in the future!!

The building and its rooms are nice. The breakfast area is nice and roomy and offers a waffle maker and espresso among the other usual hotel breakfast items. Easy walk to dining and a grocery store. A comfortable stay for my family overall.

We met Kim the fantastic host of the breakfast bar! She waited on our small group and treated us like family. It was a fun and friendly stay. I enjoyed our suite and the fact that I could open the window to get fresh air and lie in bed and listen to the hum of the city at night! We would definitely stay again the next time we are in Bismarck.

Room was clean, quiet, and updated. Pool was nice, a little chilly for kids, but we were very pleased with our stay.
