My mattress had dried vomit on it, the leather headboard was peeling off, the carpet was so dirty I made my kids keep their socks on. The furniture in the lobby was falling apart and the wallpaper in the hallways was coming down. We paid $236 a night and were disgusted. I am the type of customer who never complains, but this was unacceptable for this rate. I have never been to another Marriott property with these issues. We had planned to stay another night, but left.

The staff was really kind and courteous. Our room was clean and quiet, and yes we read reviews expressing concern with cleanliness and the staff. Our family experience was wonderful and the staff could not have provided better service.

Our family was visiting Wilmington on 8/11 and 8/12 for our family vacation/birthdays. We stayed in your hotel and expected to have decent experience. However, my wife and my son were bitten by YOUR BED BUGS in room 220. Both are hurting now.

Got to the hotel for check-in only for us to be told our room wasn’t ready. We waited in the lobby (which has no A/C) for an hour until our room was ready. Our mattress was sunken in in the middle and very uncomfortable. The pillows on our bed were also very small and would be more suitable for a child. Definitely not worth the price we paid. I will say, the staff at the front desk and bar were trying their hardest to accommodate everyone with the situation that they were dealt. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone we know.
