Hilton Garden Inn Charlotte/Ayrsley

This has become my favorite place to stay when visiting family in Charlotte. I will continue to return!

My family was only in town for a weekend basketball tournament, before heading on to start our spring break. Right from the start, our experience was less than ideal. Automatic doors to the lobby not working upon our arrival and no carts/dollies available despite our late arrival time of almost midnight. Issues 2 sets of key cards that did not work for our room. Shortage of towels/washcloths and pool towels due to issue with facility washing machine(s). Jets not working for the hot tub. Trash cans in our floor hallway and all around the hotel were full throughout our entire stay. Some staff were pleasant and tried to be helpful- others not so much. I did reach out to the general manager following the stay and she addressed my concerns and issued a partial refund. Our family travels often, and I was pretty surprised and disappointed, especially given the cost of the rooms for the stay.

I liked that there was an inside pool and hot tub. What I did not like there was alot of noise above me there was alot of moving around. Someone also banged on my door by mistake I assume... this has never happend to me being in a hotel and scared the crap out of myself and child. The bathroom was not as clean as it could have been and we were moved to another room. The staff was very friendly and understood and made accommodations. Once in other room the heat would not work it would work off and on, handyman came fixed it worked then off again. I wanted to love this hotel but I didn't. I was kind of disappointed especially for the area. The ombience of the hotel itself is fine the eating and bar area looks great, pool etc. The room doors are chipped on the outside, the maintenance needs to be kept up better, and cleaning. Also with ordering food the bar closed early. When they were open they were out of things.. that's also room for improvement.

The grout need to be redone but otherwise the hotel was fabulous and I enjoyed my stay. The second night a bunch of children were running around making lots of noise

I didn’t like the hard bed and flat pillow. Nothing worked for the children. Pool always closed. Horrible experience. NEVER AGAIN.

This was really disappointing. The 3 reasons we chose this hotel was for the indoor pool, the restaurant and the bar. NONE of these were available to us. We were not offered any compensation for it. Just a sorry. Tell that to 4 children!!!!!

Great place to stay family’s trips for 3day everything is around that area. I recommend this hotel.

Amazing staff! Very friendly and helpful! Felt more like family than a guest.
