SpringHill Suites by Marriott Charlotte Uptown

Customer service was top notch! From kitchen,valets cleaning staff all the way to the front desk! Sasha was extremely helpful and courteous! I will recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. I was traveling with my elderly mother and she loved her stay as much as I did.

The staff were nice but need more training on customer interaction. They were kids which is understandable but communication (“Hello! How are you?” Instead of: “Valet?”) was lacking. We asked for two things to be adjusted like a tray for the coffeemaker or the electric blinds to be fixed to which they responded but never followed through completely. They took their smoke breaks in front of the property and the overnight valet was sleeping in the bar which was closed. I get it but more training would be necessary for a better impression. Overall the property was clean and quiet.

My family and I have stayed here on multiple occasions now. The staff is always very friendly and the hotel is so clean! It is within walking distance of great entertainment and restaurants!

Checkin was a DISASTER!!! We arrived around 2:00 for 3PM check in. I asked the front desk if we could check in early and they said no. No problem. I was told that my room should be ready around 3PM. About 2:30 a person from the front desk came to the lobby and said for the first 5 people that were there to come up. None of us really knew who the first 5 were. I went up and waited and was told that a room was not ready for me and my family, but should be in about 20 minutes and that they would come and let me know. After 20 minutes I went back up and there was not a 2 Queen room ready still. BUT, within about 5 minutes, a person who came in AFTER me got the 1, 2 Queen room that became available. I ended up waiting until about 3:20 to get our room. This hotel needs a better system to notify people about their room. I would highly recommend that they have a process of getting customers names in a list, based on when they arrived.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Queen suite breakfast was perfect for our family with small children.

Very nice hotel. Great place to stay for events at the Spectrum Center. Room was spacious for our family of 4. Enjoyed the breakfast and the bar.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and will continue to come back when we visit Charlotte. The hotel is clean, the beds are comfy, service is great as well as the location. The seller for us is that we can comfortably sleep a family of 5 without breaking the bank.
